There was laughter, there was cheering, there was singing, there was even some fighting. For all intents it was a celebration. The young Lady Irrvast had returned home from her second mission as a lesser squadron leader. Snow fell above the returning warriors, hitting the glowing magic umbrellas of the snow shields and falling to the side of the roads where it would melt off the heated pavement. People cheered and called for the young Lady Irrvast’s attention, though she did not give a response. She walked on with her head looking forwards, as if no one else existed around her. Her black armor was adorned with the House of Wolves symbol as well as a few Dwarven Runes, her cape bore the symbol of Clan Irrvast. A Ghostblade struck through two filled in eyes. Her armor was covered with many splotches of frozen blood. Her companion trotted by her side, as well as the 16 soldiers in line behind her, readily gave thanks and cheers to the people in their leader’s stead. A Valkyrie broke the line and hugged one of her friends, the harpy covered in stealthy winter wear enchanted to keep the icy winds at bay.  The soldiers at the end of the line were dragging a sleigh with bodies respectfully laid upon it, yet no one was distressed or saddened to see them. There would come time for mourning later.

“Lady Corrin. You should dismiss them.” The large centauress to Corrin’s left spoke. Her name was Sigrun Irrvast. She was the Retainer of Corrin and had been handpicked and raised alongside her. A proud Centauress seven and a half feet in height. Sigrun had blazing red hair with fierce green eyes and creamy white skin, she was lithely muscled and had her medium-sized breasts stuffed into her thick black armor with fur lining her collar. Above her left breast rested the same symbols of House Wolf and Clan Irrvast. Her Caparison was similarly thick to keep out the frigid temperatures as well as prove shielding from any weaker attacks. Sigrun had a rich chestnut coat of fur on her equine half that rippled with muscle as her red tail shook off the last of the snow on it. Below her Caparison, hidden completely from view and strapped in to prevent it from moving or being unruly, was Sigrun’s cock. Sigrun was a Gifted as they were called, one… endowed with a blessing of beauty and lust by the Goddesses Astrea and Sarina. Sigrun looked down at Corrin and gave a quick flash of concern before she looked away, lest the worry on her face be shown, or worse, seeing Corrin’s gorgeousness set her heart and loins ablaze in the frigid air for all to see.

“Dismissed,” Corrin said quietly. Her gorgeous voice was like freshly falling snow. Only the first few of her soldiers heard her reprieve until Sigrun barked it back to the others. Her voice was far deeper and richer and echoing with authority. If one were to listen to their way of talking alone, one would very wrongfully assume that Corrin was the weaker one and Sigrun the powerful up-and-coming legend of the House of Wolves. At Sigrun’s barked command, the soldiers broke rank, and all but the Strakkad and Harpy crossed their arms before giving the respectful traditional exit.

“”May the Blackflame light your day!”” And saying that, Sigrun stopped as Corrin stood. The crowd happily welcomed the others in and they would certainly be treated to song and partying for returning from beyond the Wall alive. As they waited, three Arachne covered almost head to toe in silk as light as an aurora walked up to them and bowed deeply. Corrin’s eyes met theirs before she looked away. But the Shrouded would not speak until spoken to.

“!4 gave their lives for us. See to their rites, Shrouded.” Sigrun said with a bit of sorrow in her voice.

“We will see that any who can be given the Breath of Life once more are brought back and will prepare those who cannot. Will you attend their Pyre?” The Shrouded in the middle spoke up as the other two Arachne’s legs silently brought them behind Sigrun to the sled of bodies. The two Arachne silently adjusted the ropes and tied them off so they could carry the bodies back to the Shrouded Sanctum. The Shrouded who had spoken stared behind her veil at Corrin and Sigrun, waiting for a response politely.

Corrin bit her lip and turned to face the ground. “Maybe… Yes.” She said just as quietly as before.  The Shrouded smiled, her fangs glistening for a second as she gave a quick curtsy, bowing her human body and spreading her spider half lower before she rose.

“Thank you, Lady Corrin. Their souls will be honored with your mighty presence.” The same Shrouded spoke before all three Arachne left as silently as they came.

“Lady Corrin. Shall we head home?” Sigrun asked cautiously. Corrin nodded and the two departed as her soldiers thanked her and wished her well. The crowd similarly cheered them on as they headed towards the Irrvast Manor. Sigrun smiled and waved as best she could, though her heart still hung heavy.

After many minutes of silence eating at Sigrun’s hearts. The two arrived at the Irrvast manor and were greeted by the servants. Corrin looked up at the Manor, the symbol of the Irrvasts was carved into a great pillar above the house, with the symbol of Blacktorch carved into the other.

“Is mother home?” Corrin said quietly to the nearest servant. The young woman, one of Corrin’s cousins who did not inherit the Irrvast gift, bowed and replied immediately that Lady Kaguya was in her bed chambers. Corrin nodded and strode through the open doors with Sigrun hot on her heels. The servants immense talent kicked in as they could sense the young Lady of the house was in a mood, and they all but vanished without a trace as Sigrun followed Corrin. Corrin did not knock on her Mother’s door, banging open the beautiful silver door and rushing her mother.

“Corrin! You startled me. But no matter! You have returned my- what is wrong?” Kaguya’s instincts told her Corrin was on the verge of a tantrum. Kaguya looked at Sigrun as Corrin sprinted across the room effortlessly and lunged at her Mother into a deep embrace. Getting Kaguya’s gorgeous snowflake-themed dress covered in dirt and frozen blood. Sigrun stayed at the doorway and bowed deeply, she too was covered in blood and dirt and didn’t want to-

“Sigrun. Enter already and shut the door.” Kaguya commanded with her voice as crisp and clear as an icicle. Sigrun hastily entered, did a 180, and shut the doors behind her and not a moment too soon.

“Waaahhh! I am a failure mother! An incompetent! Worthless! Utterly worth-mph!?” Corrin had lost control of her emotions. Her cry of anger followed by a torrent of self-loathing before she was silenced... by having her head shoved into her Mother’s large bosom.

“Hush my little Snowbear. Do not insult yourself like this. What happened on your mission? I was not expecting you for another few days.” Kaguya removed Corrin from her ample breasts as Corrin’s temper was abated a bit, but was still boiling over. Sigrun stood back and watched, she would speak when spoken to by the lady of the house or her master. Instead, she simply took in the details of the two gorgeous women and waited for the conversation to inevitably shift to her. While Kaguya comforted Corrin enough to get words out of her, Sigrun thought about them both.

Corrin Irrvast. The Ghostblade Hound. The Tailless Wolf. The Living Armory. The Frozen Legion. All these titles at quite the young age. But then who would dare look at her on the battlefield and say she did not deserve them?

Corrin was a Heavenspawn Yuki Onna. Only that was not her sole gift. Corrin had perhaps the most amount of blessings in her body that a mortal could achieve without bursting into divine energy. She was an Awakened Irrvast, a user of the Ghostblade Bloodline Magic, she was a Heavenspawn, Kaguya being a daughter of Zarahi himself, she was a Yuki Onna, having inherited all of Kaguya’s gifts and more, and finally… she was born with Herringal’s Grasp. At the age of 8 she had killed her first man. And now at 18 she was a one-woman army for her Kingdom. However it did not come without its drawbacks.

Kaguya began undressing Corrin from her sullied armor as Corrin stopped her self-loathing and sniffled. On the verge of a second tantrum but behaving for now. Corrin had hair as white as snow, matching Kaguya’s, with skin just as flawless white without a single blemish. But unlike Kaguya’s striking almost silver eyes, Corrin had the eyes of an Irrvast. Jet black sclera as dark as the starless night, with glowing blue eyes that radiated her mighty birthright. The armor was unbuckled and the blood soaked metal fell to the ground, leaving Corrin in a light black under suit that hugged her body.

“Sigrun. Assist me.” Kaguya commanded quietly. Sigrun instantly obeyed and was beside her master and her master’s mother. Sigrun’s own sadness was getting stamped out by a rising heat inside her as she was just inches away from Corrin’s gorgeous body. But Sigrun knew this image before her was fake.

“Mother… I can dress my-“ Corrin started, her voice quivering.

“Silence my love. Have you not dirtied my room enough? I will give you one of my dresses, it should fit perfectly ~” Kaguya grinned with a wry smile. Kaguya unzipped Corrin’s skintight underarmor, and deftly avoided Corrin’s body bursting to it’s proper size. Now freed from the magical constricting effects of the suit. Corrin’s breasts went from nearly flat, to several inches larger than her own head. Her rump performing the same miraculous feat as the lithe muscled buttocks suddenly returned to their proper size fitting a statue of a fertility idol. Corrin bit her lip and looked away as her cheeks blazed a bright blue, one of her signatures as a Yuki Onna.

Sigrun’s heart and cock threatened to burst out at any second as Corrin stood naked save her bra and panties, but only for a moment. With a speed like a Snow Stalker, Kaguya twirled Corrin and deftly stuffed her daughter into one of her dresses. Corrin’s long white hair rested passed her shoulders as the transformation had taken all but a few moments, yet Sigrun felt like she would have fantasies for weeks. Sigrun closed the clasps on the dress before looking at Kaguya for a second and seeing a knowing grin on her face. Sigrun’s face blazed as red as her hair as her warm cloth sheath was ready to burst. Kaguya had done that on purpose just to rile her up! Sigrun backed up before her cock burst free and shamed her even more than she already was as Kaguya gave a soft giggle.

“There, my little snowbear. You look perfect as always. Now. Sigrun will tell me in depth what occurred that has vexed you so much, but I desire to hear it from you first. What happened during your mission?” Kaguya said gently but resolutely. Corrin’s blush faded as once again sadness and anger built up, her hands clenching into fists as she gave an angry breath of frozen wind before defiantly looking at her mother. Sigrun and Kaguya were both surprised by the face Corrin was making. It wasn’t just anger and sadness there. There was disgust at what they had seen.

“They are savages Mother! As Isaac said! The people of Whiteridge are filthy cowards and savages who would sacrifice their own just for another day of miserable existence!” Corrin’s words became more and more biting as Kaguya watched and let her play out her emotions. The memories of the battle came to Sigrun as well as she couldn’t help but agree fully.

“I- they ambushed us Mother! A mass of their soldiers and priests and mages! It must have been 100 of the filthy creatures from Whiteridge! And they brought Night Eater again! I just… I didn’t know what to do Mother!” Corrin’s eyes were beginning to brim with icy tears as Kaguya could tell her frustrations were getting too much for her to handle again.

“If I just- If I wasn’t so useless my men wouldn’t have died! Daddy made a mistake picking me to be the Leader! It should have been Isaac. He could have- he could have saved them all!” Corrin spoke harshly as tears began to flow properly down her cheeks. Falling to the ground and making tiny crystals of ice on the floor.

“Corrin. Your Father did not make a mistake picking you to be a leader. Nor are you at fault if you were ambushed! Do not sit there and cry for excuses or say that someone better could have saved your men. Are you not my daughter? The shining pinnacle of Blacktorch’s strength? Did your men not die fighting with you? Protecting you my beloved, and our kingdom, and their families behind the Wall? Then they died fighting with honor and you will tarnish their legacy by saying if someone better were there they could have lived!” Kaguya said gently, but even then it was quite rare for her to scold Corrin. Corrin looked up at her mother and hugged her before bawling loudly as Kaguya hugged her back and kissed her forehead. The chilling lips of her mother on her forehead comforted Corrin, but only made her feel guiltier as she buried her head in her mother’s chest and wailed out her pent-up emotions.

“Now then. Tell me what happened.” Kaguya gently commanded of Corrin. Corrin sniffled and wiped her eyes as a dozen little patches of ice cracked on the floor.

“We were passed Clawtooth’s hole and had just killed a Snow Stalker that had targeted one of us. My Valkyrie Fii was scouting in the air when arrows began to rain and she alerted us that we had been ambushed. A Whiteridge party had been hiding in the snow and Fii had not noticed them- no, that was my fault. I told her to keep her eyes on the Snow Stalker so she was preoccupied… Fii was injured by one of the arrows and landed. I had Uvor and Garrus begin healing her quickly, and told her she should try and scout the enemy mages if there were any, and then retreat to the Walls and summon reinforcements. But then those… beasts attacked! Sending in their soldiers while they pelted us with arrows. I told Sigrun to form a defensive shell as she got my soldiers into formation and the enemy fully revealed themselves. There were several archers, four mages, three priests, one of them seemed to be a head priest with black robes and a red eye over his face, and the rest were all soldiers. There were no cavalry or anything so I thought I could win easily. But then the Head Priest gave a command and Night Eater appeared. I was fighting her and kept cutting her apart but she just kept healing… everytime I killed one of her allies she launched more bone spurs from her tail into their corpses, feeding on them… and my men  were dying without me to protect them! I managed to stab Night Eater in the heart and almost decapitated her, but she regenerated… then the Priests ordered one of their own be brought over. A little girl in rags who would have frozen to death soon anyways. That disgusting priest ordered Night Eater ‘feed’ and Night Eater turned immediately, even with my swords penetrating her body. I tried to cast a spell, to stop her from feeding and getting stronger, but she leapt onto the child and tore her throat out. Night Eater drank all her blood and I watched as her tail and blades grew… that monster of theirs seemed to be crying silver as I… I got distracted. I nearly got hit with a [Fireball] and Sigrun tried to save  me but I ended up protecting her with my swords and I used so many swords when I could have just shielded her with a spell! I stopped protecting my men and let them die Mother! The priest ordered a retreat and I made sure we gathered all of our allies bodies…” Corrin said as she shook with sadness and anger.

Kaguya listened to all of it without a word. Looking up at Sigrun who looked like she wished to say more but was waiting patiently as well.

“How many did you kill during the ambush?” Kaguya said cooly as she grabbed Corrin’s hands.

“I… Uvor said that over 70 of those horrible people were slain… to kill their own allies to feed Night Eater against me… But Mother! I lost 14 men! I… everyone always says how strong I am but I failed 14 people who trusted me with their lives! If only I had magic like [Snapback]…” Corrin said with a few tears in her eyes still. At this Kaguya’s eyes widened before turning into a scowl that surprised Sigrun.

“Corrin! Never say those words to me again.” Kaguya barely raised her voice. But to Corrin, it was as if she was slapped as she recoiled. Kaguya had to yell at Isaac and Arkyn all the time as her troublemaking brothers fought over simple things… but never Corrin.

“[Snapback] is not for a commander to ever have or wish for do you understand? [Snapback] is a quick resurrection spell that some can cast to live their lives much more freely. But it has many restrictions. Not only can many people not cast it, but it has a use limit of 4 times a day, can only be used right before the person dies, or up to one minute after the person has died, and each time it is used it consumes 10% of your mana no matter how much you possess! So what would you do with such a spell then? Wait on the battlefield for the right person to die? Knowingly letting your men die while you saved a chance to resurrect them because someone more worthy to be given life might die during the battle? And who will decide that? You would become the arbiter of their lives’ worth? Should only the strongest of your men be revived? The most skilled mages? The most intelligent officer? Would you make sure that you let others die so that you could save one use on Sigrun in case she ever fell to a blade? If you learned [Snapback] and began to think this way. You would be spitting on the faces of all the loved ones who will mourn for someone you could have saved, you will tarnish the legacy of those we built a Pyre for, knowing that you sacrificed one of your men because their life, their blood wasn’t worth as much as another’s! Do you understand me, Corrin?” Kaguya said. The air in the room had chilled a dozen degrees as Kaguya truly looked furious for a moment even without raising her voice anymore. Sigrun was prancing in place with anxiety, not wanting to dare interrupt the Lady of the House… but wanting to rush and comfort her Master.

Corrin stood there motionless for a few seconds before taking a deep breath and looking at the ground. Kaguya adjusted herself on her chair and breathed out an icy mist as Corrin shook, before Corrin burst into her loudest tears yet and buried herself in her mother’s arms and chest.

“WAAAAAHH MOMMY I’M SORRRYYY I’LL NEVER DO IT AGAIN!” Corrin cried loudly. Her voice like the tinkling of bells as she bawled like a child. Kaguya’s face visibly softened before she smothered Corrin in her large bosom and began kissing her forehead again and again.

“There there my love, forgive me for snapping at you. I should not have scolded you so harshly. I just detest that way of thinking, it is like a blight that will never let go if you let it fester. So I wished to cut it from you as fast as I could. Okay, my Snowbear? You did wonderful Corrin. You went up against an ambush outnumbered three to one, with experienced enemies while you were just a group of fledglings. And to kill seven times as many enemies in your first lone mission and make the correct call to retreat after! You did not do anything wrong, my dear. As we speak, the Shrouded are most likely performing the Ritual of Souls right now. Seeing who can be resurrected, and who will be honored as a hero of heroes for giving their lives to protect you, this nation, and their families.” Kaguya kept kissing Corrin’s forehead as her daughter gasped for breath from between her large bosoms. The gentle but incessant smothering and Kaguya’s truthful comforting worked quickly to soothe Corrin as she stopped crying and listened to her mother.

Comments

The character depth and story depiction in this first chapter alone is amazing! Being able to tell that Corrin was bothered by what had occurred was easy to see in her mannerisms even without knowing anything about the character as of this point. Also all the detail with Corrin's assets returning to their normal size once her armor is taken off was real good! The interaction between Corrin and Kaguya was soo good! You can instantly tell how loving of a mother Kaguya is while trying to help Corrin through her troubles. The part with Kaguya getting upset about Corrin wanting to use that spell to then Corrin breaking down into tears was written so well, you can really tell how much Kaguya is against her daughter using it. Such fantastic writing, especially for just the first chapter.

Sweet! And you also have the Ai pic at the top of pootreon to give a good ref. Just missing the Black Sclera.
