Shu Yu didn't hold back; after all, it's business, and it's better to be clear now to avoid disputes later. She led Ying Xi to walk around the entire shop. The shop was kept very clean, even the kitchen in the backyard was scrubbed spotless, and the scattered wood was neatly piled up in the corner.

The backyard would solely serve as a resting area and storage space, keeping things separated and tidy, so there was no need to bring guests there.

The second floor already had a few small rooms, but their layouts were cramped, so they would need to be reconfigured.

Craftsman Ding assured her that it wouldn't be a problem, and it would be done quickly.

Shu Yu entrusted the matter to him, occasionally checking in on the progress.

So, the shopkeeper needed to be reliable, handle customers with grace, and be capable. This was a high requirement.
