Patreon Charges

Hey all,

I'm learning from others that I subscribe to that Patreon charges are fucked up this month. Normally, when the first of the month hits, I lose a lot of subscribers and get to depressingly watch my numbers drop. Most of these seem like bots but this month was especially bad and other creators are reporting the same thing. A Tumblr post reports that Patreon has moved a server to the UK and this is tripping a lot of fraud detection from banks.

Word on the street is that Patreon is charging some people double or declining pledges for no reason. So please check your bank statements and let me know if you are unfairly charged double. If your payment was declined and you still want to pledge, hit me up or do a donation to offset it if you feel so inclined. Other creators are suggesting people call their banks to give permission for the charge. While I obviously would like to financially make what I can doing this, I'm more concerned about people being unfairly charged double. I can easily refund pledges if this occurs. Just hit me up.
