What's next?

I hope you enjoyed the last update!
The last few releases were quite focused on getting all the systems and features straight, as well as adding some side content.
Now, it's time to dive deep into the next big piece of content, the second major level! As you may have guessed, most of the action will take place in the hospital.
So, while the haunted house was divided in two part, one for each big maturity level,and you never get to play the other part, this one will play a bit different. There will be key differences given how you are in the maturity scale, but this time you will get to the same place.
I'm still drafting the layout of the level but I'm very excited for it. It will take advantage of all the new features that I implemented and it will include many scripted events.
As it will be a quite complex level, I won't have time to include a lot of other things. Here's what I want to include :
- The second level, obviously. This time, I don't want to cut it in half like the mansion.
- Some new pieces of clothes
- Some hairs type for the boy (he need a bit of love) and additionnals colors
- Some accessories like glasses. It feel weird that you can loot diaper glasses as special item but it don't show on you.
- If I have time, the secret club end.
I still want to push some cosmetic aside the level, because it's been a long time since the last batch! And a major level warrant a little bit of fun, right?
So, I'm gonna finish the level design, and I hope to be able to start building it this week end! Until then, see ya !

Currently I'm still all alone. When I will be able to afford it, I'll seek a 2D and a 3D artist to help me working on some specific part of the game. I'll also have to find a good animator.

2022-09-30 07:31:19 +0000 UTCYeah I though as much but it need to be relevant to the game, so this has to be tied to a central mechanism. That's where the tricky part is. Just cycling days and night without in-game effect or consequence isn't hard, but this need to be relevant one way or another.
