Well, I know the unenviable fate of users of Apple products. And I wondered if there are many such people among my subscribers. I'm taking this poll purely out of curiosity. Do you log into Patreon through the Apple app?

2025-02-25 13:31:02 +0000 UTCAs far as I'm aware, the 30% extra is only if you pay for anything on the Patreon app on IOS. If you access Patreon on a browser on IOS instead of the app, you can avoid paying more. This extra tax exclusively applies to paying for things on the IOS version of the Patreon app, not the Android, not on PC and not anywhere else.

However, since the ability to pay for memberships and other purchases without the mediation of the App Store is present, I don't understand why anyone would even go to the Patreon app in the App Store.
