Something about the suburbs of Koboldsk

Let's continue writing about the game's first full-fledged mission. As I wrote in the previous post, the protagonist (namely Faeena Shay) goes to the human city of Koboldsk to visit a branch of Fink's company and purchase scarce building materials for the Shai clan's construction artel. But how does the protagonist end up in the suburb, which is on the other side of the mall? Well, all at the suggestion of Elizabeth and Aurora Moray, who will offer Faeena to stay a little longer and integrate into a human society that is alien to her.

They will send your protagonist to the suburbs, to the garage of a human teenager named Robin (to be fair, this is his beta name, and it may change in the release version of the game), who assembles a candy cart there (you can see it in the screenshot above, under the word Garage). Robin needs a few missing parts, and our generous Faeena decides to help him find them, and at the same time see how the bald bipeds live in their concrete and plastic boxes.

Actually, finding the necessary parts for the cart will be the essence of the mission: traveling through the locations of the Mall, Suburb and Backyard of the factory and exploring them, the player must look for various items, put them in his inventory, combine them in the inventory, apply them to objects on the map, communicate with other NPCs, fulfill their small requests and get the necessary parts for the cart.

Among the NPCs that will meet on the path of the protagonist: Elizabeth and Aurora Moray, Robin (his family's garage with the cart inside can be seen in the screenshot above), a lone dog guarding an abandoned mobile home (can be seen in the screenshot above), a girl with crayons (her place can also be seen in the screenshot above, next to the scooter), a cleaning robot, and Gadget, a talented self-taught mechanic dryad from Blue Wood, but not part of the Shay clan, but a regular forest dweller who can be persuaded to join the clan.

Robin's family's cottage, to the right is the garage where Robin sits.

Inside the garage; in the foreground is the very cart in need of fixing.

An abandoned mobile house, which is guarded by a stray, but very angry dog, which you will have to tame, and at the same time in case of finding her a new owner.

A park and a place where an unfamiliar girl with crayons will draw on the tiles. She will also have to help take something away from the angry dog.

A bus stop. This is where the protagonist will spawn, imitating the arrival of the bus (although a large-sized adult dryad in a narrow aisle of a bus is a pretty funny sight.).

That's all for now. Next time I'll tell you about the last sub-location of Koboldsk, namely the backyard of the factory.
