Father's day was nice. One of the benefits was that I could work uninterrupted for a good chunk of time. This led me to making a brand new act from scratch within a single week.

🧠 And maybe more importantly: ALL OF THE NEW MIND CONTROL SCENES ARE NOW PART OF FULLY PLAYABLE TRIALS OF THE SUCCUBI!

However, the rest of the week had even slightly less time available than expected. Juneteenth is a daycare holiday but now we know.

More time than I would like was once again spent on finding new sprite artists this week. I now have 3 on payroll with a possible 4th! I'm hoping at least 2 of them can deliver nearly everything I require in the next few months.

Next week looks to be slightly better with only 1 day completely taken so far.

• 🦇 NEW Depths Act 2! My personal favorite so far of the depths. I've also never knocked out an entirely new act in the span of a week! (Especially with so many brand new assets!)

  

• Depths Act 1 gets a slight makeover. More background effects and a few different threats loom.

• Falling in any depths act now functional. Hopefully you have enough flight stamina to get to the next platform. (I should have realized how difficult this would be to code...)

• 🔥 NEW Fire Level 4 Weapon! Creates a path of fire while you walk to turn fire into the ultimate close range and kiting tool!

  

• 🔥 NEW Fire Level 5 Weapon! All fire effects now create mini explosions to add extra damage!

  

• Switching weapons while 2 ranged attacks can be active should be much smoother now.

• Fire level 2 shield no longer shoots fireballs until level 3.

• Kinetic weapon upgrades fixed to not rely on fire levels anymore.

•  Goblins now have actual pathfinding and won't go running through cliffs/abysses anymore.

• Moved from Gold ( With so many scenes being integrated at once I'm hoping all the functionality should work. Still, there are bound to be bugs, I'll try to fix them quickly!):

• 👧🏻 NEW Megan TOTS Zone encounter! She was up to something a bit suspicious when you walked in. Are you going to stick around to get to the bottom of it? Makes the most use of taboo level compared to any other!
