With springtime things are starting to heat up! What's hotter than having 3 encounters from Jada Fire? Being a veteran in the Military Zone must not have worked out for her because she is prowling the streets trying to pick you up as her next job.
Speaking of heating up... We have a new Level 2 Fire Upgrade in Fall of Haven. Though I'm highlighting it thematically for ๐ฅ week, it is a fraction of the additions that are here!
While music, sprite, and art samples have been rolling in (much of it NSFW), I really underestimated how much time it takes to negotiate, revise, and seek all of that out. What a good problem to have though!
Here is another sample of what's to come!

Sadly because this was a second short week in a row, most of the Trials of the Succubi additions had to wait for next week. I'm honestly surprised on how much I got done in the time I was given. The current plan is to pause Keystroke and replace it with tons of TOTS for next Funday Friday.
Fall of Haven ๐
๐ถ Placeholder music added (just one song for now to test the system).
๐บ Revamped 'Moose Temple' area! Now defeating the mini-boss will spawn an artifact that will let you have TWO active weapons at once! I had to re-write all the weapon select code to not only allow for this but to function in both forms.

โก Level 2 Electric Weapon! Will now head straight up after hitting enemy. If you touch it on the way up it will shock every enemy on screen for bonus damage!

โก Level 3 Electric Weapon! Slower moving projectiles that do extra damage but are easier to catch for the global effect.

๐ฅ Level 2 Fire Weapon! Despite being just as slow, will now deal bonus damage when it passes through enemies! This makes it better against quicker targets that were it's weakness.
Special effects from gem pickup moved to when you pick them up instead of after they land in your weapon selection.
Screen shake impact added to all shard pickups when they hit weapon selector.
Changed several screen shake intensities.
Lust heart size decreased by half and movespeed decreased. Still hard to click on without running into it but I'll try to fix that too.
Area of affect of Earth weapon increased and no longer blocked by line of sight.
Changed kill count barrier and animations to work far closer to intention.
End of demo icon fixed to actually show.
Removed a frame of moose hammer slam knockdown effect to make it easier to dodge.
Added pause by pressing ESC to get out of freezes and anything else needed. This is temporary and will eventually be replaced by mouse function. (Do NOT use when a hint is open unless the game is jammed)
Added blind and double weapon tutorials.
Fixed being able to activate fire weapon without fire shards.
Enemy spread changed in a few areas.
