Why on earth is there a scary powerful guy Hector with the title of "Devil" and what is he up to these days if he is still alive?

The ending scene is one of my favorites and very memorable, that is one scene I was waiting to get back to. The fact that Subaru can declare he is her knight, but it feels so different now because of the change in perspective, reminds me of Okabe declaring himself Hououin Kyouma after all the suffering in Steins;Gate 0.

2023-08-30 21:09:40 +0000 UTCAbout Hector. The anime translated his titol as "Devil of Melancholy" when in reality it's more like "Warlock of Melancholy". Warlock in this case standing as a male adjective for Witch. So yeah, Hector is part of the same group of Witches as all the other 8 as the only male member of it.
