It is not officially confirmed, but there were multiple leakers that say this. The guy who leaked what titles White Fox is working on. Then some Chinese leakers said that they aim for est. 4 episodes per volume. White Fox announced their side low budget project Sengoku with 37 episodes it is from manga which has only 100 chapters (RZ wn arc 5+6 = 170 chapters) So I don´t think they will cut much content on their main title.

S3 will have around 40 episodes. There should be 11-12 arcs when the novel is finished + they will most likely adapt canon side content. So we are basically still early in the story (: Let´s hope that S3 will make Re:Zero more popular, so they continue with adaptation.

S3 was announced earlier this year after 2 years of silence! They say it's going to be 24+ episodes and will cover Arc 5 and 6. The novels are currently in Arc 7, and the author said he plans to have 11... so hoping the story gets fully adapted
