First, Superfly's stand user kinda sounds like Kakyoin's VA to me (it's not though, I checked), then in the next episode we see a custard-filled pastry get 'rero'-ed. Really makes me miss my boy.

They also showed the last place we saw Koichi (where he was confronted) and only his bag is left behind. You asked for an update on Koichi just then, but that was the show's way of updating you. JoJo's sometimes uses visual storytelling this way, which is easier to miss than verbal storytelling.
