2023-02-04 20:46:08 +0000 UTCBasically, the movie was one big stoner-tantrum: Seth Rogen has LOUDLY complained in interviews that he hates "kiddy" CGI movies, never mind putting up with being voice-typecast in Dreamworks comedies, and this was his "inappropriate" R-rated stab at What Haters Think a CGI Movie Is, If They Can't Tell Pixar and Dreamworks Apart. Which, I guess, would sort of make this the Shrek-movie of....Shrek movies.
