Couldn't have put it better myself. I will add that the humans who worked at the aquarium were probably watching him for any sign he was READY to go back to the wild.

Great little film after watching so much horror haha.
A lot of great morals.
- Everything you said in your review about being different, i agree.
- Gloria and everyone grew up knowing only one thing an anything other than that is wrong.
Gloria was confused because she liked him, but because he couldnt sing, they couldnt have their traditional heartsong so they couldnt be togheter. Im glad she listened to her heart.
- This film actually remind me of religion a bit. There is only one way, the head pinquin was litteraly talking about the "Great Quinn" like people talk about god. Only he can fix it. While Mumble found out it was the fault of the aliens etc
- I think its a fun little film. Not at the top of my list, but enjoyable and it makes you think how much we, as humans, hurt the animals and nature. Also, the zoo.. i agree with having zoo's to a certain degree. This was cruel, but so realistic in some ways.
I enjoyed your reaction !

Also the weird jump from when Mumble was at the aquarium/zoo/rehabilitation center, once he was being unique - it caught people's attention because we are pretty easily amazed when animals or humans of rare talents impress us. And they deemed him fit to be re-released back to the wild, hence the tracker on his back. And he went back home after the 3-4 months of being gone.

Love love love this movie. Was a big favorite growing up mainly at first because of the music, but when I got older I got the messages as well. Just to be clear tho, because it seems like a lot of reactors miss one thing, and that's that Gloria never got with anyone else. It was just her and Seymore's singing class that was with her at the end
