The beginning referenced Friends (they were sitting in a coffee shop that resembled Central Perk) talking about how hanging out at a coffee shop isn as much fun as a bar. Then at the end it referenced "Cheers", the theme kicks in at the end and thats also why the credits were in yellow before going back to the original white.

Everyone in the bar yelled "Swarley", and thats a call back to Cheers (another sitcom from the 80s and 90s) and whenever one of the characters walked in they would all yell his name "Norm". And the Cheers credits were all in yellow
