Added 2023-04-24 08:00:01 +0000 UTCThe Rick art is a little wonky in this one. I took a bunch of new photos to work from (thus the change in facial hair) and am trying a new art method. While the current results are "acceptable," I'm not happy with them yet.
The real Ric came to visit (We live in Phoenix, while he's still in the greater Seattle metroplex). That's when I took the new photos and we visited the ghost town. There was never any chance of us taking the old-west photo. Missy thought we were interested, but in fact we were both staring, horrified, for the very reasons I mention in the comic. I was looking at a picture that was clearly a family, with the mother and daughters dressed as "saloon girls," and the father and son dressed in ostentatiously fancy clothes and brandishing two revolvers. I tried to think of a scenario for the photo that wasn't creepy, but I couldn't.

2023-04-24 22:30:31 +0000 UTCTo clarify - this comic seems to say that it's better for a dad to be pimping out his daughter and wife, than it is for a customer to be utilizing the pimping. Not sure which is worse, really. Equally disturbingly bad, maybe?
