He is not jealous of his sister and friends, but because they all have a special talent, he feels left out. We see that when he is away, how big of an important roll he plays in their group. He is the one with the jokes and sarcasm, knows how to strategize and plan (he planned the invasion) but also planning in having a scedule so they dont waste time (because they cant affort to lose any). These are things the others are not really good at, but he is. He is so important for the dynamic in this group and he didnt know he was already using his talents. At the end, he was taught something he could exceed in, something he is specialized in, which gave him confidence. I also love the end, just because you're Firenation doesnt mean you're a bad person. Just because you are from the Earthkingdom doesnt make you a good person (season 2 episode 7 , or the ones who tried to capture Toph for money). OH! Uncle Iroh pretending to be weak. He is getting ready and fit, so when the time comes and everyone underestimates him, he will show them that that was a mistake. I hope you will recover soon!
