Knowing I wasn’t going to be there when they decided whether to take the return or not was surprisingly nerve wracking for some reason. Even though they were brand new shoes, I put more effort into examining and cleaning them before I shipped them back to the distributor than I’ve ever put into readying a pair of shoes before wearing them. When my appearance and self-respect are at stake, I don’t seem to put in any effort, but now that there’s a refund on the line, everything must be perfect!

2022-11-14 23:28:50 +0000 UTC"I didn't mean that as a compliment" made me snørt REALLY loud. Glad I'm on my own, or there would be very odd looks. Here we have 14/30 day return policy depending on the store. Shoes are the hardest to buy, though. The only ones that worked for me were Sketchers. The rest is always JUST a bit too tight, or a bit too loose, or a bit too short, or simply intent on biting my feet off.

2022-11-14 19:28:22 +0000 UTCNew Balance. Try one pair on in the store and then feel safe ordering that size forever. Plus the shoes are branded by number. I order the same size pair every couple of years. Haven't failed yet. And am really excited about The Authorities 2!!
