Yeah, Iroh's silence does come off as him being smart about it, but on the production side they wanted to put some time between the last episode Mako was alive to be his voice before they cast someone else.

Saying they defeated the airnomads in a battle while it was a ambush (you learn more about that later). If they changed this, imagine what they changed in their books to make them look great to their people. Especially a100 years later. - The way the kids learn how to behave and not being able to express themself. They have to follow the rules and act how their society want them to. So they grow up as pro-firenation and perfectly behaved people. - Yes, you are right. Aang is finally able to be a real kid and have fun. At the same time, you see how much older he is in mind and soul because of everthything he experienced and responsebilities he has from young age. - Very VERY good lessons!! - This time Azula was actually telling the truth. She wants to look out for Zuko. I know its weird and you dont believe her (normal reaction), but in this moment she is honest. I know, crazy haha XD. - Indeed a little bit of romance. It was a really cool dance as well.
