The good news:

The update is nearly ready. I've got a mountain of code to sort through and clean up, but most of the new content works most of the time, and that's always encouraging. The new Sugar Brown dating mechanics should make for a nice change of pace from the core game's more aggressive, sadomasochistic content with Ms. Pennyworth. I hope you guys like it.

The bad news:

The Thanksgiving Holiday has come and that means that my work on Bitch Breaker has more or less been halted by the tide of familial obligations we married fellows must endure around major holidays. While I had hoped to find SOME time during this week to work on the game, my wife's family has descended upon our home like dark forces upon a sleepy Maine town in a Stephen King novel. There is no space protected from their prying eyes and inquisitive conversation. Tonight marks the end of ONE of the four Thanksgiving meals my wife and I are expected to attend. No one ever really talks about the true cost of rising divorce rates and the erosion of the American Family, all the extra turkeys needlessly roasted. It's not all bad though. I do get to reuse all of my conversation points and occasionally steal particularly good jokes.

On that note: Did you hear about the man who was arrested for stealing $60k work of Viagra tablets?

*pause for effect*
