Weekly Update - 11/16/20

This week I spent some time messing with After Effects to make my videos look better and spent a LOT of time scheduling everything that's happening in the near future.

This video clip has some of the new things I've learned like the rolling fog in the background, and I finally found a way to have objects move on their own without me entering a million edits to animate it manually. The final version of this video will be out on 12/19 and might look SLIGHTLY different. I'll probably continue to tweak the movement effect and see if I can make the fog look better before then.

Future releases in order:

ASAP - "Eaticus Candicus Diabeetus" - This is the death metal song that I wrote to be played on a live stream when awful candy was being eaten. I made an extended mix of the track and submitted it to all major streaming services and it will be the first public video uploaded to the Katy Scary YouTube channel. The release date is currently in Spotify's court. As soon as it's processed it will be released and I'll post about it here to let everyone know.

11/23 - "Gobi's Valley" - The video for my cover of Gobi's Valley will finally be on the Klaymore channel on Monday. There will be a new mix of the song available to you guys as well since I wasn't thrilled with the version I have on Spotify.

11/30 - "Cash Mirror Woods" - The new Factory Flora album will be available digitally. Physical copies will be in stock soon after but everything has been delayed due to covid spikes, so the cassettes should be shipping out at some point in December.

12/19 - "I Am the Blood (Demo)" - You guys already have the download for this song, but it will be available on all streaming platforms on December 19th.

It's been a hectic week of organizing, but I'm really excited to get all of this new music that I've been holding on to out to the public finally.
