VoidCraft Teaser #2

July will be here sooner then anyone thinks. Least of all for me.

Just another quick teaser for the base frame~ I've worked through most of the base VoidFrame, which will be basically the foundation of what I'm going to work off of and how things are going to go aesthetically~

I've got a bunch of things shown here but a lot of them are just sketched and playing with forms, like the variant heads in the one render, and the fabric in the other. I'm not sure if that'll be something that's part of say, the base unit, but practice is practice xD

Now a big hot button topic is "The Scaling." Those two words keep me up at night, so I'm gonna try to address this here. I've even added a front orthographic render with a ruler for scale x'D This is always something that's a bit decisive, but at this point most of you know or have heard me complain about this on the discord.

But basically, with the VoidCrafted, basically every infantry scale unit in this line will share this same scaling. Which is based around the same ball jointed scaling. (Shoulders/Elbow/Wrist/Torso/Hip/Knee/Ankle.) This lets me create a consistently scaled library across the whole line that I can (in program) pull from wholesale. Not only that but for digital kit bashing, it keeps everything consistently scaled, and the upscale/down scaling will follow the same notion, so a simple scaling across one kit will bring it in line with a larger one~
That's why having a solid base scale established is important x'D something some other places aren't...quite that consistent with xD But I'm mostly just trying to have some transparency here so folks know what things are about here with this project.

I think it's all going to be very neat.

So they're all the same style of balljoint~ but the scaling between the two factions might be a little different. But given that they are all balljoint based, you should be able to scale and hot swap just about everything to some extent~ ~Pipes
