I wish more people appreciated Nagato/Pain's character. He is such a good deconstruction of the harsh reality of an "expensing world". A direct reflection of reality where 1st world countries long since the age of colonialism participate in prosperity peace plundered and pillaged directly from the surrounding regions to their detriment. It is such a cold, sobering fact. One that we must desperately face together and collaborate on a solution.
