Doing the usual yarn weft method with hot glue, I made and attached white hair on Frankie up until their skull cap piece. I decided to cut it at the end, so it's long now but we'll trim it later
Next was the black, but with some streaks. I didn't have a blue yarn I liked, so I blended together these two colors in equal parts. Looks pretty seamless!
I attached wefts all around the hairline
Taking a break from brushing yarn, I finely chop up some extra black and white fiber for the shaved bit of Frankie's head
I put mod podge on the area and start attaching the fibers in clumps with tweezers. Then mod podge over the top of that. This will take a couple layers
I keep going around, and mark out a part, which ended up being totally unnecessary because I don't plan things (oops)
Here's two layers of the undercut. I ended up doing three
And here's the head filled up! Time to style
I start slicking back their hair
I give them a bump-it made of extra fiber
And here they are, trimmed and all! I'll probably be going in and hair spraying the shit out of it, but I like how it looks!
Technically this was 2 days of work, and I did start Drac.... But I ran out of black yarn 😬 back to Joann!
