- Did you notice that they use alot of different shades of blue? I think its absolutely stunning.
- Zuko almost getting killed... powerful moment. You must love uncle Iroh as well, he never leaves Zuko's side. He is always there.
- I LOVED your reaction when they said "it is forbidden for women to learn waterbending".
- I Love how they adresss every problem we have in the real world as well. The things you've seen in the previous episodes and in this one (again) as well.
Arranged marriages
Women are not equal
Though that are their costums/ traditions, the world changes and Katara taught them that. And this was only in the Northern water tribe. These things didnt happen in the Southern water tribe.
- At the same time i do kinda understand master Pakku. He is a man that respects tradition. He only follows the rules of his tribe. I wouldnt blame it all on him,, though he was a jerk.
- So even if you're on the good side, doesnt make them all good. If you know what i mean.
But it shows us discrimination of gender and unfortunatly, still happens alot in the real world. Same as arranged marriages. Its just wrong.
- And when master Pakku learned that the love of his life (Kana) ran away because of these costums, he had a change of mind and a change of heart.
I think its very powerful and beautiful that Katara stood up for herself and her rights. She fought. She maybe didnt win the battle, but she won the war.
Im excited to see the finale ! =D
