2021-09-09 03:56:13 +0000 UTCI'm so glad you watched this! Yes Idgie and Ruth were together but it was very downplayed from the book, I'm actually surprised you picked up on it so quickly. As to Ninny being Idgie, she is the same person in the movie but in the book it is made very clear she is not the same person.

I'm not sure how anyone could say this is aimed only at women. I could see rom-coms, but this is a good drama.
