I do agree like yeah they could’ve tried Finn’s plans to distract the Oozers(that’s there name and yes they are humans who where affected by the mushroom bomb) but there is still a risk since Finn is a human. James is made out of candy so it is easier to recloan him then risk Finn or even Jake getting hurt at an attempt to stop the Oozers. It is true that PB caused them to come to the surface but I agree with her it was the best case scenario to limit fin or Jake getting hurt
