Happy Halloween... ish!

It's bit too early for Halloween, but I'm greeting you guys anyways! It'll be a busy week for me, so, yeah, Happy Halloween, everyone!

No really, we haven't "died" because we're still very active in our Discord server. But yes, translation frequency hasn't been great due to several factors, though right now we're back and just released a brand new doujin! There will be more coming in the future, so stay tuned!

An Aikatsu! doujin is definitely coming

Hi, everyone! Sorry for being silent for a while, and that's because I don't want to flood the Lazy Lily blog and Patreon with endless update posts. I understand it's not nice to keep everyone in the dark, and that's why the Discord server exists—I'm very active there and give small updates, or even answer questions.

We do have a doujin coming and we're trying to have it published before we ...

We're still working on the Yume x Rola doujin, and it's coming along just fine. We're still lacking people so things are moving slowly (*ahem* also distracted by WuWa). I can't guarantee when we'll put this out, but it will definitely come out.

July 1st 2024 Update

Hey there, everyone.

With regards to the Elf doujin we've been teasing this past couple of months, it's still happening. Right now, our editor still hasn't showed up, and to get things moving, I'm trying to convince someone to work on the pages. So far he hasn't responded yet.

And with regards to the Aikatsu! doujin, translation progress is slow due to it being a gag doujin with tons of dialogue and potential pop culture references, and the obligatory "too busy IRL". If you haven'...

Elf doujin update

Oh hey, everyone. As you might have expected, the elf doujin is still delayed because the editor in charge hasn't been around due to IRL reasons. I don't think we'll hear from them soon, so we're gonna shift gears and look at a few Aikatsu! doujins we have in storage and do one of those for June instead.

Elf Doujin Progress Update

-Initial translation and editing done

-Typesetting in progress, around 40% done

-Image cleaning/editing (removing some Japanese text for English text), around 0%

That's pretty much it, but things are definitely moving. The biggest hurdle so far is we might alter several text boxes because they're so vertically narrow, and currently we're not in that phase yet.

Hey everyone, apologies for the inactivity. As of right now, we're still working on the lewd doujin (teaser: elf ends up staying with girl, and fun things happen). Lots of stuff happening like the heatwave siphoning my will to typeset, and the editors are busy with their stuff offline. As per usual, we'll package the chapters in one neat zip file, but if you're the manga app reader type, you're pretty much all set. However, the Sakura Trick scanlation saga isn't over because we're going to update the old uploads with higher resolution scans for consistency, and it will probably take another year to do it. So yeah! On your end, Sakura Trick is complete!

We're still around 16 years later!

Would you look at that... That long, huh? Fansubbing today is rare because of streaming services providing subtitled anime as soon as the episodes come out, but before the likes of Crunchyroll? Man, fansubbing dominated the fandom with various fansub groups translating anime with their own style and philosophies. And it's to believe we Lazy Lily Fansubs were part of that era.

The last untranslated chapter will likely be released around late July (that's honestly the nature of things behind the scenes), and after that, we're technically done with Sakura Trick. The chapters WILL be completed, don't worry. It's the little things that needs fixing and I'll point it out in a blog update down the line. Stay tuned!
