It was clear that she wasn’t gonna listen to reason at the start, and even when moon made it clear she didn’t want to hurt her, and played defensively meteora was bent on killing her. Now could moon have waited and see what meteora would have done after eclipsa gave that “i love you” speech? Absolutely, but still i understand her thinking, “if it didn’t work earlier, it wont work now.” And tryna murk her.
