Preferred Fiction Format
Added 2024-10-09 16:38:13 +0000 UTCWith several weeks of releases now in the bank, I wanted to check in with my patrons and see what everyone prefers as far as the way I release content. I'm also opening this poll up to my free followers to get a better picture of what everyone wants going forward. So far, I've focused on weekly chapter installments of 3-4 long-form novels. That means steady pacing, character development, more detailed plotting, and more buildup to the spicy content.
I've got a couple of shorter works also in the pipeline, such as the previously teased bra fetish short. I also have been making use of a fun writing tool to generate story prompts on the fly and spit out some great ideas that I'm already working on.
The shorts are self contained 2,000-5,000 word works that jump right to the good part with less energy on setup and character development. They're meant to be an outlet for the more experimental expansion and transformation ideas and for stories that are pretty much JUST the spiciness. I think there's definitely some hunger for that type of content. That said, I don't want to focus too much on these shorts without ensuring that I'm not assuming what the people want without asking.
So here's the question:
Assuming weekly releases of content, what would your prefer in terms of mixture of long-form novel chapters and one-shot short stories?
(I do want to stress that I have no intention of abandoning any of the current stories, regardless of the poll results, so don't worry about those going anywhere.)
