hello owners I see you have come to change my sawdust bedding, let's skip the pleasantries and get down to business. While you are cleaning my cage I have you held captive and you HAVE to listen to my art complaints. I seem to have accidentally made a Tim Burton style character and I need to backtrack pronto. Is this what happens to goth posers like myself? We just default to rhinestone crosses and Tim Burt? I am thinking if I add some shading and colour to the black part of my shirt it might lessen the signifiers and maybe start adding some decorative pieces. For example, I am considering 3d printing a spinal cord bone to put in my hair, or little scary monster mouths to add to my hands. (ew am I becoming a horror normy?)
Oh also, red lipstick? or keep my lips beige to make the stitches stand out more? You know that phrase "vote with your wallet"? The theory that consumers somehow have power over the companies who sell them goods because they decide who to purchase from or boycot? - doesn't really work but you know what does!? Telling me if you like my lipstick or not.
I see you are about to leave ONE MORE THING. (grabs your pinky with my paws and motions for you to stay) I hate having this confession but I need to get it off my enormous chest. I have been feeling anxious lately that i'm making my cosplays too pretty and not weird enough. If you know my old work you know that I used prosthetics to look like a dragon, wore fake mold on my body and pretended to be popcorn ceiling stucco. I need to find a way to harness those powers of ew somehow in this video. Or maybe the topic of jiggle physics is already so loaded that having a cute puppet girl is the perfect match. (lets go of your pinky) anyways you can go I am going to ponder a bit more....
