Reason for my Absence

OK guys, there have been a few days of silence from me, which is not THAT unusual, but I still wanted to let you know what was going on. 

So: A few days ago, I recorded, edited and uploaded the rest of Homelands chapter 3. At the time, I was already feeling like I had a big lump in my throat. A day later, I could barely open my mouth or swallow without extreme pain. I went to the bathroom, grabbed a flashlight on my way, and almost fell because I was super dizzy.

Shining the light into my mouth, I noticed that almost the entirety of my throat that I could see, was covered in yellowish pustules... Looked REALLY gross.

So, I tried to treat it myself. It wouldn't be the first throat infection I've dealt with, but this is by far the worst one. In the end, I ended up with almost 40 degrees Celsius fever and sweating like hell. In the end, I had no other choice but see a doctor, that was yesterday.

He told me that I've got a nasty case of Tonsilitis, and gave me antibiotics and painkillers because, believe it or not, but I had not eaten anything at that point for almost 24h, and the painkillers were supposed to make that easier on me.

Right now, I feel like a truck has run me over, and I have no energy to do anything. I was scheduled to start working again today, but that was a bust because my doctor told me to stay home until Tuesday.

The long and short of it is: I'm a bit better right now and the Paracetamol is making sure my fever stays at manageable levels, while the antibiotics take care of the infection. 

Actually spat out a whole lot of puss this morning, after a few of those pustules exploded in my mouth. 

So, this is just a bit of a status update for you guys to let you know I'm still alive and kicking. Just barely right now, but I'm still here!
