Month End Status Update

July is in the books, and you guys deserve a status update. There's some good news and some bad.

Progress was made this month, all the Zalran interior maps were finalized, events added and updated to the Mayor's house, Voran's bar, etc. Mapping is almost done for Zalran church which will bring all the mapping up to Chapter 1. Artwork is still being worked on for the CGs 6-8, but all 3 are nearly done.

System-wise, I've been working on 3 areas for the next release. The main menu should be complete with character portraits done and command icons. I've started updating the quest menu. Finally, I've been testing 3 different achievements plugins.

The bad news is two-fold. My family got hit with a bout of sickness this month which slowed down development. I really wanted the maps and artwork to be done at this point, so I'm about a week behind there. Worse than that, my programmer I had setup for commissions fell through. This was after I put together the information on the battle system, packaged it, and had multiple discussions. It wasn't necessarily his fault, but the lost time is annoying. I've got multiple requests out and I'm hoping to hear from other options this week.

What to expect in August:

August will be a bit busier in terms of Patreon content. There will be a content poll in the next two weeks. This poll will focus on fetishes and a few other options. There will also be at least 1 development discussion post. Finally, there should be a release near the end of this month. As things stand, it is unlikely this one will be a paid pledge. The only way I'll make it a paid release is if I can get at least 5 chapter 1 scenes with CGs done and in the game. That would constitute a significant amount of gameplay and artwork. More likely though is that the next pledged release will be 0.20 at the end of September.
