Hello everyone!
Still churning along. Thought I'd give you all a little update. Still polishing things up and getting the MV systems screens in place. I'm spending about 3-4 days per week getting everything that was in the prologue polished and looking good. I'm spending the rest of the time working on new stuff (Yay!). I'm hopeful that October will be the last month in which the majority of my time is spent getting existing content updated and polished.
As you can see above, the hills look a bit different. I've got them updated to the new tilesets. I also updated Aylia's peasant dress portrait. It's gone through a few iterations, but I feel I finally locked down what it needed to be. It now fits better with how her dress is exploited in battle, and it makes much more sense for something she'd be traipsing around in. I updated her facial features to fit her other portraits as well. A few of them were remnants of when I was experimenting with drawing styles.
For the new stuff I've been working on. I started drawing the first Triste rival quest results. This involves CGs for both Aylia and Triste, depending on how the quest stage ends. When I finish, I plan to start on one of the Mayor quest lines. It's really awesome to be finally adding completely new content. Kind of a "whew" moment.
Whelp, hope you're as excited as I am. The plan is to put out a release at the end of this month. I'll keep you all posted along the way.
