With the Pacers on a roll at the midway point of the season, Steve Jones and Nekias Duncan were kind enough to extend me an invitation to come talk about what has led to the team's sudden surge on the internet's favorite basketball podcast about actual basketball: The Dunker Spot.

A year ago, when I was a guest on the show, we predominantly talked about the team's high-octane offense and why it was, both figuratively and literally, "a blur." Now, we still had a lot of pun (get it?), but the focus shifted mainly to why they've leveled up, "at the level," on defense, along with what's clicked for Tyrese Haliburton, his blossoming synergy with Pascal Siakam, and much, much, more.

Plus, we talked at length about the most recent win over the Detroit Pistons and why the coverage against Cade Cunningham was emblematic of the team's growth at that end of the floor.
