Chapter 59 - Genius in Action

After completely extinguishing the cigarette, Han Sen grabbed a bottle of water and drank all the contents to wash the taste of whiskey from his mouth.

"I think I have a childish palate. I'm already 16 years old and I can't even drink properly." After complaining a bit, he remembered his past life for a moment, 'Well, I really have a weakness for drinks. That woman only got me because I was drunk, so I guess I shouldn't repeat my actions here.'

As he was doing so, Lin Beifeng and Jade came in, both carrying a strange expression. Well, Jade had the same expression as always. And it was at that moment that Han Sen noticed their arrival.

"You finally arrived, huh." Pretending that nothing had happened, Han Sen smiled at Cloe, his personal attendant, "Is there a holographic projection system here?"

"Yes, sir. Would you like to use Business or Personal mode? The different services only add customization improvements to the holographic projects, if you wish." Explaining in detail the two types of benefits, Cloe already knew that now was the moment she would leave and no longer needed to accompany them inside the room. But the commission would be high, that's what matters!

"Business mode, please." Knowing that he intended to present some things he thought about in the last weeks, he chose more wisely. And after that, he threw a small device that looks like a pen-drive to Cloe.

"More projects?" Jade could already read his facial expressions and knew that his mind was full of new ideas... for her to take care of. That's how he was in most brainstorming meetings.

"So we're going to eat and make money?" Lin Beifeng just smiled at him and took off the jacket he was wearing, "I couldn't ask for a better friend."

"And I could say the same." Han Sen casually looked at Lin Beifeng before getting up and going to greet him, "How was the trip?"

"Nice. As a middle-level planet focused on trade, it's pretty easy to get the services I'm used to if paid a high enough price." Speaking casually as if it was nothing, he finally realized that the scene had become strangely silent. Looking at Jade and Han Sen, who were looking at him strangely, he asked, "What did I say wrong?"

"Sorry, it's just that we were poor until a few months ago. So we kind of feel like punching you right now." Han Sen shrugged as he patted him on the back, "But don't worry, we're not going to do that now."

"Now?"

"My beautiful Jade! Did you bring what I asked for?" Cutting off Lin Beifeng from speaking, he changed the subject and went over to Jade, trying to hug her and... succeeding, since he was faster than her.

Just giving her a smile, he took the bag to a random table and left it there while Lin Beifeng and she sat on the sofas. Cloe also did her job and left without anyone noticing, while also turning on the holographic projectors in Business mode.

With a pulse of clear blue light, the room was covered by a fast light show and quickly returned to normal. But now, all that needed to be done was a command and the object they wished would appear in the room and thus they could conduct their meetings with assistance.

"Well, today I felt like working and had been thinking about some projects to implement in the Sanctuary and on Moon Star. So it's good that you two are here, kills two birds with one stone." Han Sen leaned on a countertop and looked at the two while he took a sip of water and continued, "Here's more work for you two."

As soon as he finished speaking, a dozen projections appeared in the room, all of different things and organized in various ways. But none of them seemed ugly or poorly designed, but rather the work of a divine craftsman.

Among these projections were machines and equipment used in mines, minimalist architectural designs, and even different project logos. Even some books were there.

Lin Beifeng, looking at those various projections, was honestly interested and shocked. He already knew about Han Sen's ability to be a creator, but this was too much. If this amount of stuff really came out of his head, then it would really be something that would make him admire his boss even more.

Jade was also already accustomed to Han Sen's genius, but was still shocked, even if she didn't show it. And more than that, she felt that it wouldn't be long before she achieved her goals with the company. And all this was only possible because of him.

"First of all, I wanted to discuss some things about the Sanctuary. Now that we have established Elysium, we need to start dominating the Steel Armor Shelter in the best possible way. I'm a nice guy, so I want everyone to know that the best Shelter in the universe is mine."

"With that said, let's move to the first step. Beifeng, I intend to establish an information network with the help of Digital Crowd (marketing company). This information network will serve for some purposes, and among them are a Creature Encyclopedia, a Sanctuary Map, and at least start an Environmental Encyclopedia. All of them digital and physical, with copies in the Elysium library."

"It can be run without problems. This will help newcomers settle in better and handle the Sanctuary in a more realistic and prepared way." Lin Beifeng analyzed the proposals, where he presented a World Map within the halls of Elysium.

Jade also looked for a while and gave her own contribution, "Would it be good to build a copy of the Map near the gates of the Shelter? Thus, the public image of the Group would increase even more. I can also create a subsidiary of Into Pieces to publish the digital and physical books."

"Problem solved then." Han Sen smiled at them and moved on to the next topic.

"Still on the Sanctuary, and this time involving the creation of a new company, the second step would be the monopoly of entertainment houses within the Shelter, whether they are cafes, tea houses or restaurants. Preferably, we can even achieve unification of the local market in a Public Mall."

"Celestial Garden Shop and LeanFeed Holding will be the two established companies, one inside the Sanctuary and the other outside, respectively. LeanFeed will own the patents and sales records of various types of food, and I initially want to establish three. A Dinnix coffee shop network and Joy's Den tea houses are two of these businesses, which will be established both inside and outside the Sanctuary, while the other, an ice cream shop called Melting Crystal, will be uniquely present on the planet."

"Taking the monopoly of these types of service in the Shelter will be of medium difficulty. We can start by putting these types of service within Elysium first and then we expand to the Shelter. Would it be better like this?" Jotting this other idea on his comlink, Lin Beifeng tried to record everything while thinking about how he would do this too.

"Jade?" Knowing that she would have something to say, Han Sen asked for "help" from her.

"Why not both at once?" She looked him in the eyes for a moment before continuing, "While the Group takes advantage of the privilege of being the first to try these new products, we contact all the providers of these services within the Shelter and offer ourselves as suppliers. And when popularity is high, we will build our own establishments and stop supplying those who do not want to become branches, building a local network."

"Wow..." Lin Beifeng listened to everything she said and was left with his mouth open. It was as if everything Han Sen said entered one of her ears and immediately a way to develop this business appeared in her mind, "You guys are a great combination, you know?"

"I've told her that many times, but she doesn't listen to me." Winking at Jade, who received this with an eye roll, Han Sen smiled before continuing.

"And last but not least, I want to invest in some alternative transportation projects for the Sanctuary. Simple things, like carts, bicycles and also construction of roads and safe paths to peripheral hunting fields. I have some projects for this, I can send them later."

"This is also going to be good. Especially the use of carts, since no one has discovered any Beast Soul that could behave like a backpack." Thinking that this was the last and most casual idea, Lin Beifeng was already again noting down the things he could do when he arrives at the Sanctuary. And one of them was to put tasks on the Elysium Mission Board so that people would start to clear the safe paths.

"Great, I think that's it about the Sanctuary. Now let's go to one of the important points of today." Taking another sip of water and throwing a snack in his mouth, Han Sen continued, "Beifeng, from zero to ten, how much is your family willing to a business cooperation?"

"It depends a lot on the cooperation. As an heir, I can connect our two companies very easily, but I still need my father's permission. How deep this cooperation will be depends on what you are going to offer, boss." He didn't even have to think too much before answering, since he could actually do that.

"So I think it's already settled." Han Sen suddenly smiled before starting to throw another task at Jade to solve.

"Due to the quality of our products, most homes and business buildings already use the majority of our services, and UpWar also needs more space to grow. So, I was starting to think about interplanetary expansion."

"And me saying this to you had no influence, right?" Jade looked at him as if she wanted to pierce his soul with her eyes and didn't say anything else after.

And Han Sen wisely chose to stay silent and continue with a smile.

"That's when I thought about your Lin Family's business. As the first step for our expansion, we needed a receptive market for our products, and the planet your family owns was a good starting point. Obviously we were not going to rely solely on our friendship to secure this contract. That's when I started studying a bit about mineralogy, tools and other fields of study that involve the ore mining as a whole. And here is a business plan."

Some of the projections that were previously casually scattered around the room gathered and increased in size.

"Metal Gear is a machinery and equipment production company specialized in mining, ranging from safety equipment to precise ore detectors. With superior quality technology and a more affordable price, the cooperation between our businesses will be beneficial to both sides. Your Lin Family will spend less to earn more and Moon Star enters the planet's market more than welcome."

"And you said you casually studied this over the past few days?" Lin Beifeng copied one of the projections to his Comlink and started to analyze it more thoroughly. It was the design of a more beautiful, efficient, and cheaper metal detector.

"Don't give stage to my arrogance, please. It's enough that everyone thinks I'm handsome." Smiling at him, Han Sen turned off all the holographic projections and the room returned to normal.

Sitting on the couch right next to Jade, he put his arm around her shoulders and felt a chill down his spine when she casually looked at him. And then he smiled, since she didn't do anything beyond that.

"So, what do you think?"

"Han Sen, I wouldn't doubt that you would be the next genius of humanity. The things you were able to do today are completely out of my reality." Lin Beifeng sincerely praised his boss, his confidence in him becoming almost blind now. And then he spoke to Jade, "Miss Jade, you are also amazing. Only you can understand most of what he says and still offer suggestions."

"And who said I understood what he said?" With her indifferent face, Jade took a sip of one of the drinks on the table and then looked at them, who were looking at her strangely, "I'm kidding, I understood everything."

"What??? You can make jokes???" Han Sen suddenly moved away from her and pointed his finger, "Who are you and what have you done with my Jade??"

And so the business meeting finally ended. Having lasted a short time, it was still a huge amount of information to digest. Lin Beifeng immediately went back to the Sanctuary after writing the plans on normal sheets and Jade also returned to the Moon Star to start organizing the opening of so many different companies at once.

Meanwhile, Han Sen went home with his suitcase on his back, eager to see the thing he had asked for a while ago.
