Chapter 56 - Full Sacred-Blood Gear: Bone Sword

As soon as he arrived in the room, he noticed that it was still the same as always, without any dust or anything. Above his bed, there was a new type of black glass cage, which is much stronger than usual. It would be able to withstand a few punches from a mutant beast.

And inside, there was Little Snake. As a beast that was growing because of the Black Crystal, it was naturally weaker and the venom had no effect on the glass. Therefore, it wouldn't be able to escape like it did before, even if it became a Super Beast.

"Well, how long have you been here? You must have already become a Sacred-Blood Beast." Han Sen didn't open the lid and just looked at the apathetic Little Snake. Being trapped for such a long time naturally killed any kind of wildness the beast had.

It's been about half a year since he arrived at the Sanctuary, with the first three months going slowly. After he obtained the Black Crystal, his progress naturally accelerated, and now he had already become a big shot in the Steel Armor Shelter. For anyone else, this is simply impossible, as it was not so easy to obtain corresponding gene points and battle skills.

Little Snake had already become a Sacred-Blood Beast, and there were nine more months until she would become a Super Beast. He wanted to see if there was any significant difference in strength, as he didn't know much about the later effects. It was likely that his status window only showed Super Gene because he already had prior knowledge of this thing.

"Well, anyway. It's time to prepare some gifts." Han Sen got up from the bed and stretched his back. He took the Sacred-Blood Gear he had and placed it on a small table.

He had already decided to make Qin Xuan his woman, and he already had, and this also involved the growth of her power. He didn't know if he could use the system on her to improve her physique like he did with himself, but he would at least give her some powerful tools. As for the truth behind himself, he would leave that to think about later.

Checking in the Upgrade System, he went to the Equipment tab and saw that the Gear could indeed be upgraded. Its levels and tiers work the same way as all the others, so he spent 1,000 EXP to Tier Up to Full Sacred-Blood and another 3,600 EXP to Level Up the Gear.

And just like what happened with the Beast Souls, the white sword in front of him was infused with mysterious energy and began to transform. Its color seemed bone white, and it started to be purified and become even whiter and brighter. The blade and hilt underwent a transformation in design and appeared much more powerful, with some unrecognizable patterns all along the blade, making the weapon even more fierce. And besides the design transformation, he knew that a Level 8 Gear could easily cut a Sacred-Blood Beast in half. It didn't even need a technique.

After that, he spent another 13,800 EXP to upgrade the three new Sacred-Blood Beast Souls he bought from Baldur. These three little friends were trembling in his Sea of Souls as they looked at the other Sacred-Blood Beast Souls there. How could they be of the same tier, but the difference in strength was so glaring? Even Bloody Killer, who had been forgotten, could only tremble under the influence of Drako and the others.

The Furry White Bear underwent a transformation, becoming bigger and more robust. Its armor should have become even stronger and its beauty even more charming, if equipped on a woman. Now at Level 8, its defense and mobility would make Qin Xuan a tank on the battlefield.

The Glass Monarch Butterfly was also another beast that went through transformation and came out as a new type. As indicated by the name, the butterfly wings it provided were crystal-colored, powerful, and moved its user with surreal agility. It wasn't well suited for flying long distances or at high altitudes, but now a good part of this problem has been solved. At Level 8, using the same comparison as before, Qin Xuan would be considered an armored jet fighter if used in conjunction with the armor.

And finally, the Mermaid Queen had been strengthened to the point where it wouldn't be a problem for her to face Sacred-Blood Beasts on land if given the chance. She wasn't like the mermaids from the tales and appeared as a humanoid beast, except for the gills and the long rainbow tail that connected to her torso, leaving two legs and two arms unoccupied. If she was already dangerous on land, in the sea she would be a feared monster.

After he improved her gifts, he also made sure to improve his new acquisition, the Purple-Winged Dragon's wings. Despite appearing purple due to the name, they take on an almost iridescent glow. And after undergoing a transformation and improvement, he couldn't wait to see how they would look on his back. But from what he saw, he hadn't just gained a pair of wings…

"Now that I have a good amount of Sacred-Blood gene points, it's time to pay a visit to Devil Desert. It's the only place I know that has an abundance of Sacred-Blood beasts..." Han Sen was thinking to himself as he wrapped the Sword Gear in a white box that fit it.

His thoughts were leaning towards this direction because he sincerely didn't think he wanted to stay any longer in the First God's Sanctuary, and therefore, he would have to pick up the pace in search of Super Beasts. Qin Xuan had also been here for a few years, and he wouldn't let her leave without completing the Super Gene Points. Therefore, it was urgent.

Putting aside his haste, he placed the white box on his shoulder and started heading towards the Military Operations Base inside the Steel Armor Shelter, where Qin Xuan's group was located. It is a three-story building, with a cleaner and more military structure, featuring an outdoor training field around it. At this moment, she must still be sorting out the gains from the hunt, which, whether she liked it or not, were plentiful for everyone. Even some exchanges of Beast Souls took place among the groups.

A short time later, he arrived there, and everyone was curious as to why Han Sen, the leader of Elysium, would come looking for something in their base. And they became even more curious when they saw him heading straight to the second floor, as this clearly indicated that he wanted to have a meeting with the superiors. Probably Qin Xuan.

"Han Sen? What are you doing here?" Yang Manli, who was the vice-leader of the group and the leader of Bullseye, asked with surprise as soon as she saw Han Sen heading towards Qin Xuan's office, which she had just left.

"Well, I got lost, walked in here, and no one stopped me. So I was wondering how far I could go," Han Sen found it really strange that not a single soul stopped him, but that's okay. And seeing Yang Manli's strange expression after hearing his response, he chuckled a bit, "I'm just kidding. I came to visit Qin Xuan."

"Oh, okay. Feel free." Yang Manli nodded shortly after, understanding what was going on. She also noticed the white box he was carrying and wondered what it was.

"Thank you." Han Sen waved to her and quickly opened the door to the room and entered, closing it in Yang Manli's face, who wanted to catch a slightly better glimpse of the box.

"Sen? You’re here?" Qin Xuan was sorting through paperwork when she noticed someone entering. She thought it was Yang Manli, but it turned out to be her boyfriend. 'Wait, boyfriend?'

“No, that's just a projection. I came to warn you that I'm coming." Han Sen couldn't resist doing that. It was stronger than him. And seeing how she rolled her eyes, he just laughed and sat down in the chair in front of her, putting his feet on the table.

"Did you come here just to tease me?" Qin Xuan was already used to it, so she continued doing her paperwork, even though he was here. But she was stopped when a box was placed on top of what she was reading, "What is this?"

"A hydrogen bomb." He couldn't resist again, "Just open the box."

"If this is another one of your jokes, it will be a week without-" Qin Xuan blushed for a moment, but even she didn't want to go that long, so she had to correct herself, "A day without you know what!"

As soon as she opened the box, still thinking that she would be faced with another one of Han Sen's pranks, her eyes were immediately drawn to a flawless white sword. With a very beautiful design, but at the same time carrying a sharp and powerful blade, she felt her heart beating fast for this sword.

"Unfortunately, it's just a Sacred-Blood Gear, so we won't be able to take it outside. But it will be a great help in the upcoming hunts." Han Sen knew it was a "loss" of EXP points for something that could only be used in the First Sanctuary.

But the fact was that he had a group here, so he could simply keep it as if it were a sacred sword in the end, assisting whoever he wanted with just one command. Or he could stick the sword in some dangerous place, and whoever was lucky enough would obtain it. Only then would fate determine who would be the successor of the sword.

"So..." Qin Xuan heard his words, and therefore did not know how to react.

She had heard that there was a new merchant in the Shelter who wanted to sell a sword like that for an exorbitant price. But she didn't imagine that Han Sen would buy it for her. Her heart inevitably beat faster, and she was containing a smile that wanted to spread.

"Why did you do that?" She was already wanting to get up and jump on him, but she still wanted to know why he did it for her. It was a specific answer she wanted to hear.

"I don't know, maybe there's something in you that I really want right now?" Han Sen shrugged and enjoyed her expression, which was half shocked and half angry.

"Are you calling me a prostitute?" She understood what he meant, but a woman's brain works faster than they would like. Her mind had already entered into undesired interpretations.

"Only if you accept the deal." Unfortunately, she found someone as shameless as Han Sen. He didn't care about what was going through her mind now, since he said what he wanted to say.

Qin Xuan and he stared at each other for a while, until she blushed completely and whispered.

"Close the door."
