Early Vid: Cisco PIX Firewalls
Added 2023-12-29 07:28:18 +0000 UTCManaged to sneak one more video out this year. I picked up these PIX firewalls over six months ago and I'm glad I finally made the time to play around with them.
We'll reset passwords, get networks setup, attempt a failover config, and even corrupt an install or two!
Should go live on the channel tomorrow evening (Friday)!

2023-12-29 16:43:03 +0000 UTCIf you're looking for erasedisk722.bin, I recommend you avoid this Cisco forum post, as the last reply contains a file that is distributed outside the Cisco terms for such. I hope seeing this link makes a copy appear on your tftp server as magically as the license was upgraded from failover-only. https://community.cisco.com/t5/network-security/pix-515-i-need-the-erasedisk-bin-utility/td-p/1681167 Interesting to think that the 506E is as old as I am.
