Chapter 33 - Fist Guy & Sacred-Blood Pet
Added 2024-05-09 11:20:38 +0000 UTC“I apologize for not being able to directly sell you mutant meat, but that's all I can offer you.” Fist Guy was sitting with Han Sen, drinking tea at a random establishment in the Shelter. At the moment, he was delivering information collected over the years inside the Sanctuary.
“I appreciate it anyway, Fist Guy. Money is like air, so consider that I owe you a big favor." Han Sen picked up and opened the map of the Shelter and its surroundings. There were several markings and indications of where to find mutant beasts, as well as the locations of the already hunted Sacred-Blood beasts.
"Coming from someone with your skills, it's more than a favor. I must say, you climbed up the Sanctuary quite fast." Fist Guy had to give credit to the newcomer. Super Novice, in fact. In a short time in the Sanctuary, he was already known for his incredible abilities and, moreover, an unmatched lucky streak with Beast Souls. But nobody suspected him, as he always came back more beaten up than a spaceship accident victim by the end of the week, which gave merit to every Beast Soul earned.
"Do not praise me like that, I might end up giving you a Mutant Beast Soul as a gift." Han Sen smiled at Fist Guy, making a joke about his own luck.
"I wish I had your luck, Han Sen." Fist Guy laughed at his joke, and soon they started leaving the establishment. As they walked out, he couldn't help but be impressed again by how Han Sen equipped his Beast Souls, ready to leave. "Good luck on the hunt, Novice!”
"For you too, friend!" Han Sen smiled and shook his hands. After that, each one went their own way.
Some of the Fist Guy group were accompanying them at that moment, and everyone who was there felt that Han Sen was too powerful to be called just a newbie. Some of them understood and knew the story, but others were younger and didn't know about the blue chicken wing story.
"Boss, why doesn't he join our group? This guy must already have at least some Sacred-Blood gene points, right?" One of the newest members of the group, who joined shortly after entering in God´s Sanctuary, asked after seeing Han Sen disappear.
"Do you think he wants to join any?" Fist Guy chuckled at his friend's question, but continued, "I have information that he has a feud with Luo Tianyang and, therefore, will not join the Son of Heaven group. I have also never seen him getting close to Qin Xuan, but I know they are acquainted. Whereas we can only extend this olive branch to him and become allies. I am almost done collecting my gene points, and if I want my group to have at least one friend within this Sanctuary, I can only help him in this aspect.”
"Don't you fear that he will fall before that?" The man asked again, seeing how much confidence his boss had in the rookie.
"Do you know how many mutant weapons he had in his body?" Fist Guy didn't answer and asked back. Seeing the confusion of the people wondering about this, since no one saw any weapons with Han Sen, he just shook his head and laughed, "Let's go, you guys are still very inexperienced..."

"According to the map, there are at least 5 proven hunting grounds with mutant beasts, but everyone already knows about them, so they might not be there anymore. There are more options, but they are far apart..." Han Sen was looking at the map in his hands and studying what the appropriate steps would be.
He knew that it would take a long time to hunt them all if he only searched for mutant beasts. His hunting time for EXP would decrease significantly if he just spent his time running and eating. And relying on the Bloody Killer transformation to go faster wouldn't work, even though he can already spend a considerable amount of time transformed.
"I need a mount urgently. I can't rely solely on my legs to go that far..." Han Sen was thinking out loud and began to analyze the options.
Beast Soul Mount was something a bit rare and only worth it if it was in the Mutant tier. And even though he has no problem spending EXP, he has never seen one that was very useful in the lower tiers. He would have to waste time searching again.
Knowing that he wouldn't be able to have what he wanted right now, he put all that aside. He would now have to be fast and efficient if he intended to search for so many mutant beasts. He had already calculated and knew that each beast would only give him 5 gene points thanks to the resistance that only increased as he grew, but apparently it stops at this specific maximum number. If he was lucky and found more than one of the same species, it would be good, but he couldn't count on that. Without relying on luck, he needed to hunt down 11 mutant beasts to complete.

"I can only make the second best choice then." Han Sen decided and drew the map in his mind, tracing a line for each location he would visit. Once the route was planned, he stored the map in his backpack and summoned his Pets.
A small black cat with three eyes and two black pythons appeared in front of him in an instant. They were growing over time, but still far from being adults. And that would change now.
"Ready to grow?" Han Sen looked at them one last time, to record how cute they still were in their infant phase, and spent the points to make them all grow. It was a total of 1,250 EXP for the transformation of the three.
With a ball of light that covered the three creatures, Han Sen watched as they all began to transform into something like a shining white egg and stood in front of him, radiating a pleasant warmth. Out of curiosity, he opened the Upgrade System to see how things were there.

With a sadistic smile on his face, Han Sen immediately spent another 3,500 EXP to elevate all of them to the Full Sacred-Blood Tier. Even the Three-Eyed Cat would be going straight into its superior mode.
The eggs of light, which were already large and bright, began to grow even more, and Han Sen thought it was getting out of control. If it weren't for the fact that he was deep inside the forest, someone might have seen it and found it strange. Perhaps he was a little too excited and did it outside the Sea of Souls, but it was only because he didn't think there would be any major issues.
Swoosh! Booom!
With a blinding burst of light and a shockwave of white energy, Han Sen's senses immediately captured something very interesting.
"ROOOAAAR!!!" x3
With three enormous roars, three gigantic figures emerged from the bursts of light. Each one more imposing than the other, the creatures, standing over 5 meters tall, looked at Han Sen with affection and playfulness, defying their intimidating sizes and appearances.
Bastet, who was now undoubtedly a 5-meter Three-Eyed Panther, had an imposing appearance and a sharp, penetrating hunter's gaze. His teeth were sharp, his claws were mortal and, despite his size, he could easily run unrestrained anywhere. The third eye on his forehead remained closed for some reason, but, as its owner, Han Sen knew that things would get wild if he opened that combustion of power.
For the two Obsidian Dragons, he was amazed by their transformation. No longer snake-like dragons, they lived up to their name and grew enormous black wings, as well as developing legs. He had no idea of the magnitude of these creatures and only knew that he had just gained two majestic dragons under his command. To differentiate between the two, perhaps due to their different genders, there were markings on each of their foreheads. Drako had a diamond-shaped mark with white borders filled with black, while Nhil had a completely white diamond.
Looking at his fully grown pets, Han Sen was still in awe and didn't know how to react. So many ideas were racing through his mind that he was speechless.
"Hehe..." Maybe now he wasn't sure if it would take that long to maximize his Mutant gene points.
