Early Vid: The Linksys WRT54G
Added 2023-10-31 18:42:29 +0000 UTCTaking a look at some 2000s Linksys networking gear, namely the famous WRT54G. We'll flash the third-party DD-WRT firmware onto it and see what that can do, as well as setup a wireless-b wifi network.

2023-11-02 00:38:29 +0000 UTCReally cool video! Never knew you could flash these things. I actually went and dug around and found my v8.2 that was my main router back in the day! It's in pretty rough shape with one of the antennas snapped off and the other chewed by cats but I think I'm going to try to flash it for the heck of it and see if I can get it working as a bridge to get internet to my tv channel rack! If it works well maybe even see if I can retro fit some new disconnect-able antennas on it!
