Chapter 25 - EXP Will Never Be Enough…

As soon as he arrived home and took a shower, Han Sen had just entered the room when his comlink rang. Seeing the caller ID, he opened a smile before answering.

The image of a very beautiful woman in a professional suit appeared, her stoic and serious face adding to her charm. Her brown skin, combined with the perfect curls that adorned her hair, was a perfect sight to behold. And as the icing on the cake, this woman was too powerful for him to even consider provoking now.

But still, he managed to hire her as his employee and current secretary/CEO. She had just finished her PhD in business and commerce when she received a message from Han Sen offering her a job. Not that she was lacking in that department, but after seeing his ideas of building a business empire through hyper technological innovation and going head-to-head with a certain selfish company, the genius within her resonated with him and decided to board that ship. She also had some grievances with the Starry Group, which helped in this.

"Good evening, Miss Jade. Did you come to tell me about any progress?" Han Sen put on a shirt and sat on the bed, starting a conversation with the woman.

"Good evening, Mr. Han. I have come to inform you about the recent updates on the Moon Star project." With a professional and polite tone, the woman named Jade sent some images to Han Sen's comlink, causing them to appear on his screen.

"Sorry for my disappearance, I almost died inside the Sanctuary. Normal news, right?" Han Sen analyzed some of the images and liked what he saw. They were statistics, expenses and operational costs, and photos of the locations they managed to acquire and renovate.

"I'm sorry for what happened." Jade looked at the holographic image of Han Sen and saw that he didn't appear injured or anything. There was a purple mark on his right arm, but she decided to ignore it and continue, "According to the architectural plans you gave me, a large-scale construction of the factory and the Moon Star skyscraper is currently unfeasible due to financial constraints from the Alliance. So, I did my best and bought some of the best establishments that belonged to another company. The information you provided was of great help for this." In other words, he had the money for the construction, but not the money to actually build it. So the second best option was to close someone else's company and buy the now vacant locations.

"You are a great help, Jade. I don't know how long it would have taken me to achieve something of the same level. When will they be available for analysis? With complete equipment." Han Sen was pleased with the locations she had obtained. They were in other cities far from here, but that's what ultra-fast trains are for.

"Tomorrow, sir." Jade ignored the compliment and stated the availability. The vacating of the premises happened a few days ago, and as of yesterday, it was already fully equipped with all the necessary equipment to start operations. The cost was high, but she knew that with Han Sen's genius in robotics, it would be easily recovered.

As soon as they ended the call, Han Sen lay down on the bed and thought about the projects he had set in motion while he was inside God´s Sanctuary.

Knowing that he would spend a lot of time in the Sanctuaries and also at college, he already wanted to start organizing his staff and companies now, so that they could function without his direct orders for a long time. After spending some time in doubt about whether to trust AI or humans, he decided to do both and hired Jade, while also designing systems to take care of the organization of his company.

Thanks to this, and with the great help of Jade, a very good team was hired and they started organizing the locations, and soon the companies he designed would be available to start operations. He knew that with the knowledge he could gain from the system, all of this was still too small. But it was already a step forward.

There was a lot to do in a short amount of time, and if he wanted to become good at things he didn't like as much, but that made a lot of money, he had to gain tons of EXP and improve himself with it.

Two days later.

Han Sen had just finished a very good sparring session with Qin Xuan. Good for two reasons.

The first thing was that they agreed to meet on a day off that Qin Xuan specifically requested for this, which showed the importance she attached to the dinner. This actually impressed him a bit, but he decided to simply accept silently and prepare a surprise for her at dinner.

The second reason is that she finally found beasts that had what he was looking for. And the best part, for which he silently thanked, was how numerous the beasts were that dropped the bolts for the crossbow.

The crossbow was a Beast Soul that dropped from a type of primitive Two-Headed Snake, with the potential to mutate into a Three-Headed Snake beast. Few people had a crossbow that dropped from this snake and they said it was very good, as it had a dual shot capability and was very fast. Unfortunately, the cost was very high, since few people used it and soon no one had much interest in hunting beasts that could drop bolts. This led the market to be a niche, with everyone preferring to only use conventional bows and arrows.

Meanwhile, as almost all types of arrows came from some kind of flying insect, the bolts dropped from a Poisonous Yellow Hornet, a very dangerous type of insectoid that lives in very large groups. Although they were mostly found in common beasts, their main methods of attack relied on their 'guardians,' their primitive versions. Qin Xuan also suspected that they could have a mutant version, but they never found a Sacred-Blood beast among them.

Not that they had much interest in searching further, since it was a very dangerous place to explore. And as already mentioned, it wasn't worth the risk to cater to such a small niche, since bolts couldn't be used with any other weapon.

While thinking about it, Han Sen was strolling through the city, having decided to walk and take a little time for it. His house was very far away, so eventually he would stop walking and take the maglev train. But until then, he would enjoy walking in this neon-lit and flashy city. His attention was suddenly drawn to a martial arts hall and he saw some people fighting inside as he passed through the door.

"Ares Martial Hall? Holy shit..." Han Sen was already tired of this shit of always stopping exactly where the main character of the novel was going.

It was here in this Ares Martial Hall that the Han Sen from the novel learned a strange perverted art and used it against Qin Xuan. It was very useful in the future and it resembled wrestling quite a bit and seemed to contain a mixture of BJJ and Judo. It was strange, but effective at least.

"Since you brought me here, at least I can do the best I can..." Speaking to whatever shit was guiding him to where he didn't intend to go, he entered the Ares Martial Hall with the intention of emptying his wallet. "At least this reminded me to bring some of my own martial arts here and I can transform them.”

⍙⍙⍙

As soon as he entered, a strange old man whom he had no idea who was (he knew, just didn't care), came walking towards him while rubbing his hands like a comic criminal. It seemed like he had smelled the money in Han Sen's pocket from afar, choosing to approach him himself.

"Young man, want to learn something? We have elementary classes, intermediate classes, advanced classes and special classes here. You can learn fist fighting, weapon skills, and even hyper geno arts here. For an elementary class, you could choose to learn a martial art that I define as elementary for ten thousand dollars. For an intermediate class, you could choose a martial art that I define as intermediate for a hundred thousand. Advanced classes are each for a million, and special classes are each for ten million. At these prices, I could guarantee a good learning outcome. Fellow, you look like you have a bright future ahead of you. Do you want to sign up for all special classes? All twelve martial arts for only fifty million." Old Devil, the name of the old mand, looked at Han Sen with a greedy smile, like a dragon looking at gold. Just looking at the clothes that Han Sen was using was enough for him to detect a rich kid.

Han Sen almost punched the old man in self-defense, but he held back and realized it was just the usual greedy look, not a pervert strange look.

"I will want to learn all the martial arts that I can. What do you think of this proposal?" He was much more greedy and wanted to push the boundaries of martial arts here. He wanted to know how he could transform the martial arts from his world into something that would abide by the possible new rules of this universe.

"Ḻ$70,000,000 and it's yours!" The Old Devil knew in that moment that he had found the jackpot. Now he would just squeeze tight on this rich boy's legs and take every penny from him. "We also have Hyper Gene Arts available that will help you work better and perform superiorly in the army and in the Sanctuary of God!”

“I'm not interested, only the techniques will be enough.” Han Sen immediately declined. He already knew that regardless of the Hyper Gene Art, it would either be of low class or unnecessary for him. And if it was ever of interest to him, he would find it in the Saint Martial Hall, the place where all the arts are located.

In addition, he was not very interested in it because of the differences between normal techniques and H.G.A. (Hyper Gene Art), since, although similar, the two had different roles. H.G.A. serves to strengthen the body and make it unique and deadly, while martial arts dictate how you will use your body in a way that can explode in power and technique.

Buying all the available martial arts in this Ares Martial Hall, Han Sen got tired of walking and went home, with the new goal of reviewing and seeing what secrets were behind these new techniques.

⍙⍙⍙

"How can such a disgusting old man be so powerful and perverted at the same time?" Han Sen had just finished watching the latest martial arts instruction video he bought. There were many, almost fifty different ones.

Twelve of them were very powerful and he liked them a lot, while the others were few, authored by Old Devil, and the rest were taught by other people, mostly his students who either created their own martial arts or simply passed on more common arts.

Han Sen had several hologram panels scattered around the room, each containing what he understood from each technique and the corrections he made through his own experiences. He improved the techniques and adapted them all to his own style, which was more deadly and direct. Overall, he found it to be a good purchase.

"I was thinking about bringing some art from my world, but it's much easier if I just incorporate my experiences into the existing ones here. That would be better than just reliving my past life..." Han Sen came to a conclusion that it would be better for him. And he also didn't want to dwell on the past when there is already a bright future ahead of him.

After finishing this whole process, which took him about two days without sleeping, he lay down on the bed with the intention of resting a lot. But before that, he decided to see if there were any changes in the Upgrade System. He had never seen a tab for techniques and wanted to know if martial arts were something he would have to train alone or not. After all, he had 13 very useful ones and wanted to know how they turned out.
