Chapter 18 - [Frost King Sutra] Introductory Stage

"Not good enough, I need more motivation than this. I have to go back to hunting and training at the same time.”

Han Sen was drenched in sweat, but his breathing was controlled and he didn't seem tired. In the middle of the public square, he sat on a bench and thought about what was happening.

After having gone to the Starlight Martial Hall yesterday and had a lot of fun, he returned to practicing the [Frost King Sutra]. But the big issue is that after the improvement he had, he no longer felt much challenge in practicing as before. He needed more, something that would make him go beyond.

Quickly searching on his comlink, Han Sen soon found a nearby training station that was of great quality. It catered to both aristocrats and unevolveds who had an extra condition. Upon entering and seeing how everyone chatted and trained, each in their own world, he went to the reception.

"Good evening, I would like a membership card." He noticed that everything nowadays worked with an access card, which was funny. But he just went with it, since it was all he could do.

"Good evening! We have different types of access cards for different members. May I ask for your identification card?" The attendant, who was a smiling and friendly woman, asked for his identification to know if he was an evolved or not.

After going through the legal procedures, Han Sen soon had a Diamond Membership Card for Unevolvers. He could access the machines and they would adjust to his current size and capacity. He also had access to better machines than usual thanks to the tier of his card. There was a higher tier than this, but it was reserved for someone who has an aristocrat in the family or was one.

"Well, it's not that bad..." Looking at the various machines available for use and the instructions on how to use them, he did not regret spending Ḻ$1,000,000 per year on this gym. He would make the most of it now.

15 Days Later.

Han Sen was now in a very large bathtub, at least five times the size of his body, submerged up to his neck in water. He was in a luxury hotel now, and it was already nighttime outside. In a meditation position in the middle of the bathtub, he felt how the cold water, like the coldest winter, almost freezing, wonderfully cooled his muscles.

After 15 days of hunting and training, having reduced his hunting period to 10 hours a day and 6 hours to train his body, the results were more than satisfactory.

His body underwent a complete transformation thanks to the Frost King Sutra, an extraordinary art in keeping its user alive and under control in any situation. This meant that he could push himself in training without fear, since his body was now capable of enduring much more, had a greater capacity for regeneration, and maintained a consistently cool and refreshing temperature. This caused his body to become much more muscular and defined, with Han Sen taking the opportunity to correct all of the deficiencies he had with the advanced machines from the gym.

And about the EXP he gained, it was just a quick calculation. With his strength improvements, his average hunting time per primitive creature was five minutes, considering each kill made in ten hours. Each kill gave 2 EXP, and he gained 240 EXP per day. In 15 days, he accumulated a total of 3600 EXP only from hunting. It was wonderful, to say the least.

"Now, let's get to the main part..." Han Sen opened his eyes and saw the Upgrade System page in front of him.

Without further ado, he spent 3000 EXP all at once.

Without commenting on it, Han Sen felt a tremendous power surging through his body and soul at the same time. It was an energy he didn't know where it came from before, but with such a large amount, he knew where it originated. It was exactly the same energy vibrations he felt in that desolate and lifeless space he was trapped in for millennia before escaping. This same energy was what was strengthening him now.

Three different things began to reorganize in his body and mind, so much information at once that he had to run at full capacity to get rid of the headache.

The first upgrade he made was the Frost King Sutra Introductory Stage. As can be understood, he advanced his total knowledge of the Sutra to its initial stage, giving greater completeness to his understanding of everything it represented. Sutras, like martial arts in general, are philosophies that must be understood with the movements of the fist and feet, and at this moment, he was fixing this philosophy in his mind, as well as understanding it even more. The fact that he wrote and corrected it does not mean that he is a master of the art, only that his original knowledge is so profound that it makes him capable. The benefit of this was that he could now control his body much better.

The second upgrade was in Frost King Sutra Ordinary Tier. This was something he speculated but probably based on the level of art he is at according to the classification of the First God's Sanctuary. When he reached the Super level, only then would he have fully completed the body improvement that could be done at the first level. Anyway, this improvement caused various excrements of dead skin and black slime to come out through the pores, causing an internal revolution in Han Sen. His skin over the water, after being washed, turned out to be much more than pure, and his muscles much more than resistant. Bones, tendons, organs, everything was renewed and he could feel how much he had improved just by the way he breathed better now.

And last but not least, he spent his points on Cooking Skill Level 10 and really recognized the wonder of this knowledge. He now knew that he was capable of getting the maximum possible points from every beast he ate. He still had to obey the original rules, but he would always take full advantage of it. For example, even though he got the 10 points from the golden black beetle, it was just pure luck, as his cooking skill would definitely only get him 7 points. And besides this immense benefit, the taste of his food would now be divine, no matter how he prepared it. Something magical and tempting.

After about two hours of bathing, Han Sen opened his eyes and once again saw his Upgrade System panel. He wanted to see how the values had changed or if anything had happened to his Cooking Skill.

But when he was organizing all this new knowledge, he saw that there wasn't much else to know. If there was anything new, he would have all the knowledge in the world to reproduce it.

Taking the remaining 700 EXP, he upgraded Software Engineering to Level 4 and Hardware Engineering to Level 3. With this, he could start the production process of his delivery robots!

"Having a business is so difficult..." Han Sen was randomly hunting in the jungle, thinking about how his project was doing out there.

He had bought a regular delivery robot and was completely disassembling it, studying each component and seeing how everything worked. That way, he would know how to improve it as best as possible and install a reliable delivery system. It was all very complicated.

Entering a random cave he found on his map, he could feel his surroundings and the inside of the cave seemed to be illuminated by some kind of strange blue crystal. This was illumination enough for him. Walking further, he took a few steps before lifting his foot and suddenly dropping it with might.

While he was at it, his senses suddenly caught the presence of someone in the cave. He had nothing to light up and see beyond his good vision, almost soul sense, and the weak natural blue glow of the cave. Even so, he managed to recognize who it was.

Approaching, he became a little incredulous, wondering how this could be possible. The other party, who also looked at him in shock, soon felt relieved when they realized who had approached.

"Qin Xuan?"
