Chapter 11 - Buying House Inheritance
Added 2024-05-07 16:42:26 +0000 UTC"I said it's okay, we can pay." Han Sen waved his hands as if shooing away some chickens and continued, "Now if it's not too much trouble, you can go to your homes. I'm hungry.”
"And with what money are you going to pay us? You could very well be deceiving us right now!" His fat aunt, whose name he didn't care to remember, was the one who came to say something. She clearly didn't want to leave here with just empty words. And empty hands…
“Well, I think that's already our problem. Whether I'm deceiving you or not, you can wait a few days to sign the papers. You can leave our house now, please?” Han Sen remembered that there was a lot of drama involved in this part of the book, but he really couldn't stand talking to people like that. He didn't have any deep anger towards them. He just saw them as boring greedy people.
"And with what guarantee can we leave like this?" And there came greed again. His effeminate uncle clearly wanted to get a cut of this.
"Exactly, we have bills to pay and spent money to come here. We can't just leave with empty promises and folded arms!" His other uncle, the husband of the fat woman, was also clever and noticed what his brother-in-law was trying to do.
It was easy to see from the clothes that Han Sen, Han Yan, and even Luo Sulan were wearing that the living conditions of the family had improved greatly. As curious as they were about it, they could only take advantage of this opportunity to extort them.
"Well, it's too bad that none of this is my problem." Han Sen picked up his comlink and called the Han family's most trusted lawyer. Shortly after, the call was connected.
"Good evening, young Han. What can I do for you?" Mr. Zhang called from the other side, clearly a little tired after a busy day at work.
"I would like to talk about the acquisition of my father's siblings' shares regarding the inheritance of the house. The suggested price by them was an official appraisal of three million dollars, so it would be one million for both families." Han Sen smiled at his effeminate uncle's wife, who had spoken about the lawyer. It was obvious that they would increase the appraisal price, but he didn't let them.
"Well, if the money is already prepared and it's practically a deal, then we just need to sign some papers. When would be a good time for you?" Mr. Zhang was impressed with Han Sen's mature voice, which clearly sounded like a capable young man now.
"Anytime is good." Han Sen exchanged a few more words with him and soon hung up. It wasn't necessary to discuss more and he needed to expel certain pigs from the area.
His conversation was fully heard by his uncles and aunts, who were twisting their faces in anger. His fat aunt was the worst, as she wanted more benefits for Han Hao, her son. Luo Sulan, on the other hand, was standing behind her son with tears in her eyes, but now they were tears of happiness. Seeing how responsible he was, even willing to give so much to the family, she became too emotional. Han Yan was the only one who didn't understand some things well, but she knew she was on the winning side.
"H-Han Sen, actually, we changed our minds. The lawyer who helped us will be in charge of-" His effeminate uncle tried to say something, but saw Han Sen pointing his finger upwards. More specifically, at a camera in the house.
“It has been registered that all of you desire the money from the house, just as you chose to sell your shares for the price estimated by yourselves. And until the end of the call with the lawyer, there was not even one interruption or protest, which means your agreement by abnegation of response. Therefore, whether you like it or not, going back on your word will be a terrible crime of invasion of privacy.” Han Sen has read some laws of this world himself, just to be prepared for the case. It was already on camera that the family came here wanting some compensation. If these proofs were shown to the police, either they would have to stay silent about the house forever, or they would have to sell it right now. Property Law, bitches…
And the reason they had to stay silent was precisely the same reason Han Sen from the novel got irritated. They were all greedy people who would use the easiest path to climb up to wealth. If they kept insisting on the inheritance of the property, they would all be investigated to see if what they were doing was out of necessity or just pure wickedness. And when the investigation concluded that none of them were going through any kind of hardship, and that there were some shady things about them, their lives would be over. It was that simple.
"You!" The plump aunt couldn't handle her rage and decided to leave. What else could she do when there were cameras around? What if there was something else and she was incriminated? It was better to lose the battle than the war.
Just like her, everyone else decided to leave with their tails between their legs. With their defeated faces, they got into their aircars and went home.
"Why did they leave so quickly? Did I say something wrong? They didn't even stay for dinner..." Han Sen turned to his mother and asked in the most honest tone possible.
"Maybe it was, I don't know..." Luo Sulan held back from laughing at her son's antics and went inside. She was trying to hold onto Han Yan, who was jumping at the mention of 'dinner'. ‘ He's becoming more and more enigmatic, solving this issue so easily... there's something he doesn't want to tell me. And although my son's food is really divine, I don't know where he learned to cook like that."

After dinner and putting Han Yan to sleep with a story, Han Sen returned to his room and turned on the computer he had at home. Well, at least that's what he called it in his old world.
What was once composed of a box and a monitor on the desk was now scattered all over his room. Literally, no jokes. With the money he earned from the sales of Beast Soul, Han Sen started buying large quantities of parts to assemble his own personal computer. He also bought several books on how to assemble it, gaining knowledge quickly and understanding how it worked. His intention was to make a computer that had the entire room as a cabinet, with all other components being installed in different locations of the bedroom and with plenty of space for cooling and greater power.
In two months of work, he managed to assemble everything last weekend and today would be the first time he would turn it on. With the room all dark, he clapped his hands and spoke with a commanding voice.
Clap! Clap!
"Start main system!" As soon as his voice came out, something magical happened.
Like an energy pulse, a blue light covered the entire floor of the room and began to climb the walls until it met at the ceiling. With lines of neon and interesting flows of light linking one after the other, the room was illuminated with the preciousness of that view. At the same time, several holograms began to appear, showing various initialization and related statuses. Playing around with it a bit, Han Sen quickly caught on and was pleased.
"With this, I no longer need to visit any strange location to access the Black Market, and simply rely on the AIs to hide my location. Furthermore..." Han Sen opened the system tab, hoping to find what he wanted there. And a smile appeared on his face because of it.

"Hehe..." Han Sen didn't hesitate and raised both new skills to level 2, spending 300EXP on each of them.
Accustomed to it, he felt the dump of information once more and his eyes opened to a new world of possibilities. And he already noticed this with his martial arts, that the system does not make you learn something completely new and does not say that you could not learn it alone. As a majestic fighter in his previous life, Han Sen would easily defeat any master of this New Martial Art with his own martial arts. BUT, the fact is that by improving his ability with the system, he unlocked new paths, paths that he had previously lost by being focused on other things.
The same thing happened with software and hardware engineering. Even though he studied these technologies deeply and made advances that an ordinary person wouldn't dare to imagine in such a short time, he still lacked in several things. The system improvement, in turn, came to fill in the knowledge gaps that he decided not to pay attention to, and also to further improve what he already knew.
Taking advantage of his new knowledge, Han Sen quickly jotted down some improvements he thought of making both on the computer and on the systems he created to operate it. After that, he left two tabs open. One was his bank account and the other was a business release process. The business process had the name Moon Star Industries written on the social name.
"With the new knowledge I have, and the fact that I will learn even more, it will be easier to do what I want." Han Sen looked at the fruit of his planning during these last few months.
He took a moment to look at the amount of money he had before a smile appeared on his face. Seeing the number of digits, he could hardly contain himself from spending it all.
"Well, around Ḻ$200,000,000 is really something. I can open as many small businesses as I want." Han Sen nodded and quickly moved on to something else.
Moon Star Industries. That was the name he would give to his future company, which he was sure would scale to the point of competing head-on with the Starry Group, or even further. First aiming at the cargo transport industry, whether it be drones, machines, or cargo robots, he would use more advanced technology to mass-produce and sell these things.
In such a technological humanity, quick service was a must, and this average world he was in (Roca Planet) was not yet so luxurious as to use teleportation for something as basic as delivering your package. So, Han Sen's first plan was to improve all types of transportation and slowly dominate this market. Whether it's the pizza you wanted or the ore shipment a mine should worry about, he would gradually improve this technology and money would flow like water.
He would plan the expansion later, but now was not the time. He wanted to make the whole world use his products before planning to expand.
After spending some time using and planning everything, he clapped again and the systems went into sleep mode. He let out a tired sigh as he lay down on the bed, ready to sleep.
"Being ambitious is so tiring..."
