[Notifications] About Gumorad

I receive a email from Gumorad last night,
Due to the new policy from Gumorad,
my account has been temporarily suspended
or may be permanently suspended.
(Please PM me if you can not get your past Rewards)
I'm still looking for a solution. Please wait.
And I want to know your opinion:
A: Rewards send by message (Google drive link)
B: Rewards post on Patreon directly. (will delete every 2 months)
**Update! EndPoll Because Google drive is not safe to doing these.

抱歉通知大家一個壞消息。
昨天晚上突然收到Gumorad的信件,
由於他們需要更嚴格地刪除黃色內容,
所以我的Gumorad帳號將會被永久停用。
已經購買或取得的內容不會受影響,
但如果是之前的回饋還沒領取可以私訊我。
我目前還在思考之後要怎樣處理,
也希望知道大家的想法:
A: 跟之前一樣是私訊連結, 但使用Google drive
B: 直接將回饋內容貼在Patreon , 可能保留2個月左右會刪除

2024-08-28 09:07:36 +0000 UTCit depends on if you want to defend against the "archiver" sites at all. one of the tactics against them that seems to be more successful is to use links (on google drive / dropbox / mega / gofile.io) to zips of the rewards and then those links expire after a time. usually a month or two, but i know at least one artist that makes it 14 days. since the file continues to stay on that platform and only the access link expires, new share links can always be made if needed. or links can have a required password and be edited to change the password (and possibly the link remain the same). aside from that, google has a policy against nsfw stuff. it may not get enforced very often, but i know of one content creator that was using it to backup their content (audio/video) and collaborate with their editors and was not using it to distribute rewards. but google suspended the entire account. so i suggest not using your main account (especially if gmail is your primary email) and using an alternate account for storing and distributing rewards if you go that route.
