General News and Updates on the Future of the Patreon!

Hi folks! So, as you may have noticed updates have rather sporadic over the last few weeks. I've been dealing with some family and work issues IRL that have made making time posting on here a bit more difficult than I'd prefer. I'm working to correct this and will begin to post pages again at a better schedule. 

Moving forward, many of you have noticed on the Patreon page about the Gnaw/Doost Page. I'm currently estimating that around Late September/Early October we will begin starting the production of the webcomic God of Monsters. Written by yours truly and SummontheElectorCounts, drawn and inked by Gnaw and colors by Randoramble, it is the biggest project I have ever started. 

What is God of Monsters?

For those who are fans of jrpgs and DND, it's pretty much a NSFW love letter to both. The story follows a human prince and his entourage embarking on a quest to save the world and monster kind from the God of Corruption and monster hunters. They do so by accepting their destinies as dragon saints and fight to save all with the help of a beastman guild!

With characters designed by Gnaw and story handled by all three of us, we are developing an entire world surrounding this. 

Be Part of the Story!

To those who love to be part of the story, those in the cameo tiers of the patreon will have active roles as supporting cast members of the webcomic, along with many side comics being planned within the next few months!

What does this mean for the Comics?

Moving forward, we will be focusing more heavily on original stories set in this comic we are designing with various artists coming along to work with us, such as Doost, Pandarita, Randoramble, Monsterbulge, Ryuumajin, and many, many more! We will also be accepting new writers to work alongside us as well! 

The reason for this transition is due to the various R34 comics that have been unfortunately cancelled due to various reasons. Comics such as Erotic Evolutions 2, Starstruck and Sexual Tyrannosaurus will continue to completion. One reason is due to the lack of artists to find willing to work on R34 projects. After having to cancel so many projects due to this, R34 related content has lost much of its flavor for me and I honestly don't want to risk putting more money into projects with people who might not finish it anymore. 

Another reason is because of artistic freedom. R34 comics are always at risk of being purged by copyright trolls, especially and unfortunately Erotic Evolutions 2. The risk made it difficult to fully enjoy it anymore, especially with all the people who kept stealing the content and posting it online. I honestly don't feel the need to risk the Patreon and everything both the artists and us writers work so hard for something like that. 

Changes in Tier Prices

Around October, we will unfortunately be changing tier prices again as we will be updating the patreon 4 times a month instead of 3 times. The lower tiers will remain the same but higher tier patrons such those who pay upwards of $30 or more a month will have to change to different tiers. This is because of two factors. 

Reason One: Comic Pricing. As we hire more artists while also supporting the artists, whom we are currently paying to produce content, the price of living expenses for them have unfortunately gone up. I want to create as much content as possible for everyone here to enjoy and support/create as many comics as possible. And these artists deserve to be compensated for their tremendous work on the Patreon. 

Reason Two: Comic Progression. God of Monsters will be the longest webcomic I've ever worked on and will update much like popular series such as Housepets and Uberquest by once a week. This way we can produce content on both a fixed schedule and help create more comics for people to join in on.
