Ryan’s delivery of “Everyone’s alive!” made me laugh so hard multiple people on the train looked at me

I just checked out that clip... So bizarre. Someone speculated that it might have been a deliberate prank by Chase and Kaufman. That makes sense... Why was Chevy dressed like a punk, only to be hassled by a bunch of punks who just so happened to be in the studio? Edited: Went back and watched that clip again and they were apparently invited... which makes it sound even more like a Kaufman-esque stunt.

Also, Andy Kaufman hosted the sole episode of a music variety show called "The Top" in early 1984 (a few months before he passed away). Apparently, Andy stepped in to host this show after Chevy walked off (or was fired). Chevy apparently got into a physical altercation with audience members while he was hosting this show. There's birds eye view video of Chevy's fight on YT, from an Entertainment Tonight segment, but I am not aware of any other footage. Anyway, I hope the entirety of this footage surfaces someday, too. If Sidetracks has any further info on this incident, would love to hear about it!

Really enjoyed listening to you two discuss this doc. Here's hoping the entirety of that tense Dangerfield's interview surfaces someday.
