BTW, I FINALLY remembered a couple more titles I think would be perfect for the podcast, possibly Off the Radar, both from 1991: PURE LUCK - Martin Short and Danny Glover, usually totally reviled but I grew up watching it on VHS and even today I still find it hilarious. Short plays the unluckiest/clumsiest man in the world, who is tasked to find a rich mogul's missing daughter who happens to be the unluckiest/clumsiest woman in the world. Also kinda features the birth of Jiminy Glick, where Short's character gets stung by a bee and he blows up due to the allergic reaction (Short in a fat suit) HIGH STRUNG - A dark comedy, which I don't believe this has ever been released past VHS. You can find the whole movie on Youtube. I wore out the tape watching this one back in the early 90s. Steve Oedekerk plays a high strung grumpy man who gets irritated and complains about EVERYTHING, to the point where his life may end by 8pm that night. His best friend is Tom Wilson (Biff from Back to the Future) plus a pre-famous Jim Carrey who has about 4 minutes total of screen time. Explaining who Carrey plays is too much of a spoiler, but he's an antagonist and some of his scenes are genuinely creepy. Either of these titles I think would be great for your podcast to cover!
