Might be fun to do all the movies Rodriguez was attached to and never worked out. He and Guillermo Del Toro are like the champs of being attached and then having to bail out.

2024-11-30 20:46:19 +0000 UTCI have fond memories watching Spy Kids 2-4 in theaters growing up. 3 and 4 of which had the 3D and 4D gimmicks. The theater gave us scratch and sniff cards for the fourth movie which I still have to this day, of course it all smells like some kind of cheap artificial smell now.

2023-10-25 14:20:12 +0000 UTCI love the Faculty, I remember seeing trailer as a kid and thinking ‘man I gotta see that!!!’ I just like 90s and 00s “teen versions” of old stories a lot. (Disturbing Behavior isn’t as good as Faculty but that’s kind of a fun one too.)

Also, Joe, John Saxon is the sheriff in Black Christmas and Nightmare on Elm Street, but not Halloween. (Coincidentally, the sheriff in Halloween is Charles Cyphers, who was also in Precinct 13.)

People here would always be excited for his movies, he would usually film a few scenes in or around San Antonio, and a lot of my hispanic friends have the same kind of style and influence as him. His movies make me feel at home in that regard. I also knew people who would audition for his movies, though I don't think they were even cast as extras. I knew someone who auditioned for the role of sharkboy, and I always wondered if he would have followed Taylor Lautner's career path if he got the role instead.
