Early Access: Quentin Tarantino's Cinema Speculation - Part 1

Hey everyone, here's early access to the first part of our discussion/review of Quentin Tarantino's new book on 70's film, Cinema Speculation! We had a lot to say about the movies discussed in the book so we decided to split this episode into two parts. In this part we talk about Joe (1970), Bullitt (1968), Dirty Harry (1971), Deliverance (1972), The Getaway (1972), The Outfit (1973), Sisters (1972), and Daisy Miller (1974).

Stay tuned for Part 2 where we discuss the rest of the movies! Let us know what you thought of this first part.

Comments

Inspiring episode! Book now purchased! (Also, I know it was only mentioned briefly, but yes, please revisit PCU at some point. Definitely overlooked and potentially forgotten by some.)

Brett Lawrence

I liked it, I don’t know why but for some reason I thought it would have a more serious tone, so I got a little thrown off by the goofiness. But I’m glad it was in a more comedic vein than I was expecting. Snowman was cool

Ryan Lancello

Hey Ryan what is your thoughts on Smokey and the Bandit, I ask this because I have been trying to force you 2 to watch Hal Needham films, mainly for Stroker Ace though I will take Hooper though if the latter you can't watch The Villain or Megaforce
