We review Eddie Murphy's only time in the director's chair for 1989's Harlem Nights, which Eddie also wrote and stars in, along with Richard Pryor and Redd Foxx. We also talk about Eddie's early filmography and rise to fame in the 80's and some of his film roles following this one. Didn’t they renew the show for a second season only to reverse that decision weeks later?

I really enjoyed this episode. I agree that the Arsenio show was awkward. When he came back for one season in like 2013 or something I used to watch it and it was super stilted. Really weird show. Most of the guests seemed uncomfortable
