Also, this was written by RM. So for a theory, remember in many songs, and at his UN address, he talks about listening to others, and letting others define us, verses defining ourselves. This also applies to BTS's struggle with other's expectations. Very rarely are romantic sounding songs actually about a. relationship with an individual with BTS. They are more likely going back to Army. On a more positive note, in Namjoon talks about how the different versions of ourselves are also us. I can't find the song that talks about this same idea. But this is tied into the Jungian exploration.

Trust BTS to make the sound and the dance so dang sexy you have to keep reminding yourself what the song is actually about.
